My attempt at grooming my miniature schnauzer, Manny, was a horrible failure. His real groomer is Shondell at the Waldorf Petco. She is so gifted at her craft that I have announced as Manny and I were leaving " Thank you ladies, we're headed to Westminster ". Anyway, I took him down to Shondell and three hours later he as handsome again. Because of how short I cut his coat, Shondell had to groom him shorter than her traditional Schnauzer cut and it looks so good that this might be his standard cut.

My dog absolutely hates getting his nails cut/trimmed but it seems we've found our spot. He's much calmer with the staff here. The women here are efficient, organized, patient, and you can tell they care about the dogs.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 😡💔 I am completely heartbroken and disappointed with the experience my 13-year-old dog had today. With her birthday only 12 days away, I took her in expecting her to be properly groomed and cared for. Instead, she was cut and left unfinished like this. I also want to make it clear that my dog only had two mats — one on her tail and a small one on her ear. The mat on her tail was there because Bella did not cut/trim her tail properly during her previous grooming appointment, so I was already aware of that area. My dog has been to Bella before, and we have never experienced anything like this. I was told Bella started grooming her around 3 PM, but she got off around 6 PM and apparently did not want to finish the job. Instead of completing the grooming or communicating with me about any issue, my dog was left looking like this. What made the situation even worse was Bella’s attitude toward me and how insensitive she was toward both my dog and my 13-year-old daughter. My dog is 13 years old, and seeing her treated this way was extremely upsetting. I understand that mats can sometimes make grooming more difficult, but two mats — one on the tail and a small one on the ear — does not justify cutting my dog and leaving her unfinished. If there was an issue or Bella could not complete the grooming, I should have been contacted and given the opportunity to make a decision. Instead, I am now left with my dog walking around looking like this, and I am absolutely heartbroken, confused, and disappointed. 💔 This is by far the worst grooming experience I have ever had. I trusted Bella because my dog had been there before, and I never expected her to be treated this way. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.
