It took me weeks to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. The app wouldn’t allow me to make it online. I drove from out of state, Delaware, to get to the vet in Maryland, and when I arrived, I was told I wasn’t on the appointment list. SMH. I know I put the correct time and date, and that I actually, finally, spoke to someone. But I was told there was no appointment anywhere in the system. I’m done. I called ten times a day for two weeks to get someone on the phone only to be told it didn’t happen? No appointment existed?I’ve used banfield for over ten years but this was the final straw.

Horror show. Very rude I had to leave. Went elsewhere. Warning they don't care about your pet. Just the money. And if busy won't even talk to you. And be rude about it.

I'm a new client at this veterinary hospital, and unfortunately, my experience with Steph has been extremely unpleasant. I interacted with her during both of my visits, and on both occasions I found her to be unfriendly, disengaged, and lacking in compassion or enthusiasm when working with my dog. What was especially frustrating was that she repeatedly referred to my female dog as "he," even after I corrected her numerous times. While mistakes happen, repeatedly getting something as basic as my pet's gender wrong after being corrected made me feel as though she simply wasn't paying attention. I also want to mention that I have had a very traumatic experience with another veterinary hospital in the past, where my dog unfortunately passed away the day after surgery. Because of that experience, entrusting my pets to a veterinary team is something I take very seriously. I need to feel that the people caring for my animals are attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in their well-being. Unfortunately, my interactions with Steph did not give me that confidence, and I would not feel comfortable trusting my beloved pets in her care. I do want to make clear that the other staff members I have interacted with have been wonderful and a pleasure to work with. My concerns are specifically about my experiences with Steph. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because the way clients and their pets are treated can make a significant difference-especially for those of us who have experienced a previous loss.

very sterile and echoey when dogs lose their minds in the lobby, not great for cats. scheduled an in-person visit about a month before hand, the vet who does in-person visit wasn’t in on they day of the appointment and they had to take my cat back personally. i wasnt allowed to ask the vet questions directly. they dont provide results on paper of heartworm or any other tests and looked at me as if it’s not anything anyone has ever wanted records of. the man told me ‘if you sign up on the website, they MIGHT be on there.’ he didnt have an answer and just made it up because the results weren’t there either. they didnt even weigh my cat, couldnt estimate how old he was even though we asked. they all try to sell expensive wellness plans to everyone who comes in. all in all, dont expect good care from this group.
