I was looking for a place to board my 10 year old, intact, Pitbull and stumbled across Perfect Pet Resort. They left me impressed with every step of their process.
With only a few minutes left until closure, Maria didn't hesitate to give me a tour of their beautiful building. They also require an "orientation day" to ensure all pets are a good fit for their facility. I know my sweet baby boy becomes increasingly anxious while I'm away, so I was concerned about how he would handle his orientation. Erica contacted me to let me know he was uncomfortable, but didn't use that as a reason to say he wasn't a good fit, as I assumed they would. Instead, she gave my pet some individualized attention and moved him to a quieter section of the facility, Cedar Park. With updates throughout his orientation from Erica, I was assured he was in truly caring hands.
Still, I was a bit nervous to board my dog for 5 days as I traveled across the country for a seminar. Erica suggested bringing him in again before my trip to get him further acclimated. While I was still a little uneasy about leaving him, I knew he'd be in the best care provided in my absence with Perfect Pet Resort. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is outstanding! I can't imagine leaving my pet anywhere else in the foreseeable future.
Thank you Erica & Cameron for ensuring my pet had the best stay possible. Thanks Maria for reassuring me that he would be well cared for. Until his next stay...

We dropped our dog off for a 5 day stay. Upon picking him up I noticed they returned his collar without his identification or rabies tag which were both attached to his collar. They were not able to find or explain what happened to both tags nor did they try and rectify the situation. This was extremely disappointing as it was our first time utilizing Perfect Pet for boarding.

We absolutely adore this place. Our corgi, Gimli, gets super excited everytime we pull up to the front of the building. We live about an hour away but it’s definitely worth the drive.

Took our 2 small, senior dogs here for orientation and will definitely be back! They have a great setup for all sizes and ages and are very thorough with their walk-throughs, report cards, etc.

Paid nearly $100 for our dog to get a bath, teeth and brushed twice YESTERDAY... I still managed to brush so much fur off of him!! It's like they missed sections of him (stomach, legs, ect.)
Front desk girl was rude too.. she looked at us like we were crazy for walking in the building at 1pm.

Do you have any bathing requirements for a stay?
A. We do not require your pet to have a bath before they go home, however we strongly recommend it. We use the Hydrosurge™ bathing system, which provides a massaging bath for your dog effectively removing dead hair caught in the undercoat. They’ll also get an ear cleaning and a nice nail trim! Your pet will go home smelling fresh and looking clean after romping with friends in the play yards.
Do you have indoor/outdoor runs?
A. At Perfect Pet Resort, our guests enjoy indoor, temperature-controlled suites for eating, resting, and overnight sleep. For exercise dogs have large, secure outdoor yards for potty and playtime. This arrangement allows us to give personal attention and interaction with each guest as they move to and from playtime. We do not have traditional indoor/outdoor-style kennels. Come take a tour to see our lodging and play areas!
How much time does my dog get outside?
A. Your dog receives lots of outdoor time to use the potty and play with friends. Dogs will go outside three times per day for anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the weather. The yards are surfaced naturally so your dog will be comfortable using the bathroom.

A. Should a situation arise when your pet requires medical attention, we will contact you or your emergency contact to coordinate veterinary services with a local veterinary clinic. In the event of an off-hours emergency, we contact you and transport your pet to a veterinary emergency center. We are in close proximity to multiple animal hospitals and clinics.

A. Each massage session will last approximately 30 minutes.
How long does a spa treatment take?
A. Bathing and drying time depends on the amount and condition of their coat as well as how much they enjoy nail trimming and drying. We work efficiently to limit the amount of time each guest spends in the bathing process. We also strive to provide a positive and motivating experience for your dog so this may require additional time.
How often should I bring my pet in for a bath?
A. Depending on your dog’s coat, it is often recommended that you do not bathe more than once per month. Please ask your veterinarian or us for a recommendation for your dog.
How often should I bring my pet in for a nail trim?
A. Frequently. You should bring your pet in for a nail trim once every two weeks depending on how quickly they grow. For the health of your dog’s joints, his nails should not touch your floors at home. If you would like to learn how to trim your pet’s nails, let us know and we will help you maintain them at home.
Do you work with older dogs?
A. Of course! We work with dogs of all ages and will work with you to customize a program to meet your needs and goals.
