Buen servicio, con un personal muy amable y eficiente, aprecio mucho como tratan a mi perrita, puedo notarlo con la reacción de ella cuando me la regresan.

It’s hard to get a hold of someone when you call over the phone. After several attempts I was able to book an appointment.
They weren’t able to see my dog because she had a vaccination card from Mexico. All the information of vaccines, dates, veterinarian signature and license number were on the vaccination card. It was in both languages (English and Spanish). As soon as I provided with that for some reason I felt they were not trying to help me. They asked if I was ok with her getting the vaccines again. Excuse me? Why would my dog get double vaccines when she already had them. It was clear to me they were just trying to get money out of me. They kept asking questions that really if you took a moment to read and go over the vaccination card everything was there. They just didn’t want to help. One of the questions I got was “Does she already have the rabbies vaccine? Oh yeah I see it here. She’s good until September”. Then, they told me they were not able to tell which vaccines she already had because the vaccination card wasn’t in English. Which contradicts how they were able to tell she had the rabies vaccine already. Excuse me? You just failed to read. Then they told me it was missing the vet’s signature and license number. It was all in there. Then the lady dares to tell me they need an actual record of vaccines not a pamphlet. It was unbelievable. They also told me they need all this additional information. When I got home I found her health certificate with all the additional information they needed. I called to let them know. They asked to send it via email. I did and got an automatic response that mailbox has limited monitoring. It’s just unbelievable everything this people had me go through.
They choose who they want to help. The lady in front of me had 4 dogs which needed a service she didn’t want to pay for and I heard they’d check the dogs without charging.
I’m so disappointed and I can’t believe the excuses they come up with just not to help. I should had read the reviews before booking an appointment. No wonder they have such bad rating. Avoid this place. They’re unprofessional.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I usually take my pets to Calverton banfield but because this was an urgent appointment we scheduled in Greenbelt.
We scheduled an in person appointment for 0800 because my dog was having a pancreatitis flare up. Received a call at 0730 asking if we could come in at 0930 because that’s when the doctor arrives and we showed up at 0920 only to stand in a pee filled aisle until 1015 when they finally took her back and informed us this was a drop off location only. I suggested maybe updating the website to get rid of in person slots and the front desk worker told me that that’s corporates job and there’s nothing they can do about it. 700$ later and over 8hrs waiting for a status update on our dog we can finally pick her up. Please do your pet and your sanity a favor and go to literally any other banfield location. You can read the reviews and realize they don’t actually care by the automatic “we hear your frustration” responses.

I brought my dog in for a simple service and was treated with absolute incompetence and disrespect. The staff did not communicate a wait time or a drop-off procedure, essentially holding my dog hostage while they left me waiting for hours without an update. When confronted, the staff was dismissive, lazy, and unprofessional—even using absurd excuses for their lack of organization.
If you value your time, your peace of mind, and your pet, do not bring them here. This place is 'funky,' disorganized, and clearly lacks the professional standards required for animal care. You will be lied to, kept waiting, and treated like your time is worthless. I am taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same!

PLEASE READ IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR PUPPY.
Banfield’s Greenbelt location is absolutely horrible. I’m switching locations immediately, because when I tell you the front desk does not care about you or your pet, I’m not exaggerating.
If you ever plan on protecting or standing up for your pet, you’re automatically flagged as problematic. From the very first day I signed up my puppy in their wellness plan, the lady at the front (name started with a S- and sits on the left side) was nasty. I had questions about the plans, she clearly didn’t know how to answer them, therefore she took it personally, and instantly became rude and snappy when I asked to speak with someone who could better explain the plan to me.
From that day on, it was always a pain getting anywhere with Banfield in Greenbelt.
Same lady, different day, said she had to reschedule me (an appointment I made 2 months in advance), I accepted. Turns out she canceled my appointment and never rebooked me. I called to see if she can add me to the schedule because it never appeared in my account. I called EIGHT TIMES. From the hours of 8am-12:30pm. My call was either forwarded to voicemail (which was full) or simply never picked up. I decided to call on my friends cell phone to see if someone would pick up- and yes they did, ( a lady named Kia picked up) on the first ring. I told her I wanted to speak to the supervisor and what was their name- they put me on hold and didn’t want to answer what the supervisors name was. Eventually I was let off hold and they said the supervisors name was Devante Napper and that he was at lunch and he would return my call.
I don’t know if that man even exists. Maybe he does exist and they never told him, maybe he does and he never returned the call, or maybe he just doesn’t exist altogether. Either way, I never received a phone call, and was never able to voice my concerns about how terrible it was that my calls were getting ignored and how simple services were not being completed.
This place is completely unprofessional, extremely disorganized, and has no empathy.
I strongly caution anyone to sign their fur baby up here, because as I said earlier, if you ever find the courage to speak up about something that you don’t feel is fair happening to your puppy- you’ll be flagged and pushed aside. I hope someone higher up will actually be making a formal visit to this location and sweeping out employees that truly do not care and don’t want to be there.
People need to be held accountable for their actions, and if Banfield doesn’t want to take action and schedule a formal evaluation of this specific Banfield location, we should all take that as sign that they condone this behavior.
