  Went here today to buy some bugs for my Pacman frog and so many containers of bugs were fully dead. None of the bugs were rotated by date and the packaged items were dusty. The cages for the lizard look like they hadn’t been cleaned in forever and the cage with the dart frog was nowhere near moist enough for that species. The cashier was also rude and rolled her eyes and scoffed at the woman in front of me who had a broken wrist and asked for help bagging her items. She had zero customer service with me as well. I’m super disappointed in the Petco.

  Don’t go to the groomers here. Booked with Juliana this time and she used clippers when I asked her not to. Told her to call me if she needed to use the clippers bc his hair was matted. She only told me that she had to use clippers in the private areas after I called her on hour 4. Took almost 6 hours when she said it would take 4-5hrs max. His fur was botchy bc she lied and clearly used clippers all over his body. Still had grass spots on his face and dirt all over his ears. Didn’t trim his nails either bc “he kept moving his feet.” Never going to Petco again. Still trying to figure out why/how I ended up giving her tip when what I really wanted to do was complain to a manager.

  I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dog online like i’ve done numerous times in the past at this location and the location in Rockville. When you check in online for your grooming appointment it states dogs on sedatives are not accepted and i always mention in that section that my dog will be on anxiety medication but he will not be sedated. I have never had an issue with this. Today I received a text message regarding my appointment (which i will attach) mentioning his anxiety medication and how they don’t accept sedated dogs for grooming. I reached out to the location and spoke to a nice girl who transferred me to management. the manager was very rude and told me “there was a change in the rules” but online it has always said that they do not accept dogs on sedatives. I mentioned numerous times that my dog will not be sedated and was groomed last at this location on this medication where staff knew ahead of time. i asked if there was a different medication i could give him because maybe it was just that medication. i was told “i could list 1000 medications and it wouldn’t make a difference” I don’t know why this is a problem all of a sudden today when I didn’t do anything different and nothing new was stated online. and they told me this all the night before his appointment, with my work schedule it’s hard finding time to get him groomed when places are open and no where has last minute availability. thanks a lot! you guys lost a costumer
