  We adopted a cat from a rescue that works with Petco in Frederich MD. Petco provided us with a coupon for our purchase of supplies. The cashiers were very nice and helpful. My only complaint was how hot and humid it was in the store. It made for an uncomfortable shopping experience.

  Staff is very friendly and helpful. Karen, the Manager helped me decide on New food for my pets. Michael and Danny are very knowledgeable about fish. Danny helped me decide on new fish. I have been shopping at this store for more than 20 years!

  Have been using this Petco location for years. Can't recall a bad experience. Staff is always nice and knowledgeable. Inventory is always stocked. Have used the grooming service a couple times with excellent results. The operating hours are also a bonus.

  I had a good experience the last time I brought my dog here, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. I specifically asked for a trim and not a short haircut, but my Poodle was cut much shorter than requested. On top of that, the grooming was uneven—some areas on his head were left noticeably longer while others were cut much shorter. When I reviewed my invoice, I noticed I was charged for nail trimming and buffing. However, when I checked my dog’s nails, it was clear that neither service had been done. I had to return to the store to have it addressed. They did perform the service after I pointed it out, but it felt very rushed and not done with much care. This was honestly a very poor experience compared to my previous visit. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality and attention to detail going forward.
