  So...my 8 YEAR old Morkie Chance, has been going here since he was a pup! Love the service and the staff! A bit on the pricey side, but other than that, their hands down the best Animal Hospital in the DMV!! You definitely get what you pay for! I highly recommend to try them out, they have the best care!

  The staff was very good, took time to explain the situation. This the second day that I gave my dog Sugar the medicine. I am hoping fir good result by time she complected the medicine.

  First time customer for recently adopted dog got examined. Everyone was polite and professional. Dr. Nickens and Vet Tech (sorry, I forgot name) were wonderful! I feel confident that I’ve found the place to care of my new big baby boy.

  This is a very professional and caring hospital. I had scheduled an appointment with Papi my 8-month Rottweiler there. It was his very first vet visit, first time being in an enclosed room with three persons, first time being touched by someone other than myself. Papi had forgotten every command that he does at home. I was very impressed with the staff they were patient and caring in handling him. Papi received his vaccines and we were on our way home before he realized what had happened.

  After recently moving to the Fort Washington area, I had to find a new veterinarian after being with my previous vet for nearly seven years. My 12-year-old Cane Corso, Sasha, was dealing with a skin condition, and I was understandably anxious about starting over with a new veterinary team. Before my scheduled appointment, I stopped by the office and happened to speak with one of the veterinary technicians in the parking lot. I showed her pictures of what Sasha was going through, and she immediately took them inside for the medical team to review. They recommended the proper dosage of medication to help keep Sasha comfortable until her appointment and also placed us on their cancellation list. To my surprise, less than 20 minutes later they called to let me know they had an opening the very next day. I truly believe that was God’s favor. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, professional, and welcoming. Sasha received one of the most thorough examinations she’s ever had. The veterinarian took the time to carefully explain exactly what was going on, what the treatment plan would be, and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious that they genuinely cared about Sasha’s well-being. The pricing was fair and reasonable, and the level of care exceeded my expectations. Finding a new veterinarian after so many years can be stressful, but Indian Head Animal Hospital made the transition incredibly easy. I am grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and compassion shown by the entire team. Thank you for taking such great care of Sasha. You’ve earned a lifelong client.
