Ive been a Petco customer for at least 12 years. Ive been through many managers at this location & a host of employees and groomers between here and the Upper Marlboro store. I have tipped, bought snacks & have personal cell numbers for all the groomers ive dealt with over these 12 years. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking with 2 managers in the last 2 days at this location. And though they seemed nice and reasonable, the grooming staff is not - except Ms. Dae & Sandra. One manager even offered me a discount (that i neither wanted or asked for) during what i walked away from thinking was a reasoned and good discussion. Seems that though I didn't say more than a few words to more than 1 of the girls in grooming (except Ms. Dae & Sandra) they seemed to be playing out auditions for "Mean Girls." Though a customer for 12 years, in the last 2 months, they have twice played games with my online appointment access because of some perceived, subjective, personalized slight that I was completely unaware of (because they didn't happen). So though I can count the words that I've said to ANY of them (except Ms. Dae & Sandra) these "mean girls" have told stories & created a false narrative about me & instead of saying ANYTHING like grown-ups, they turn off my online appointment access. Seems to them, ANY question is "disrespect" and if i get bad service, im just supposed to take it and move on. So after 12 years (with at least the last 6 years at the now closed Upper Marlboro location) and thousands of dollars & the disrespect of a false narrative, I've spent my last dollar at Petco. Trust ONLY Dae and Sandra with your dogs. Good luck General manager Kenneth & the other female manager that i spoke with about my grooming experience.
If I could give no stars I would. I was 2 mins! 2 mins late from my first time ever grooming appointment for my dog at Petco. And this is after they move my apartment by 30 mins. And they refused to take my appointment when I arrived after I tried to explain the traffic on route 5 coming from Waldorf not being understanding
,. Maybe I should parked on the building sidewalk, threw my dog out the windows and ran inside instead of finding a parking spot to make for 2 mins past grace. Crazy.

Seriously, I been here 3 times and they never have dewormers, ear cleaners and temporarily relief medicine, it's always the same " those items go quick excuse" lol unbelievable. They are always stocking inventories but it always look unorganized. # DO BETTER

Horrible!! I made a grooming appointment on Thursday April 16th and they text me saying that they have no idea why the website allowed me to make the appointment as the groomer was not available. After texting they also called and left a voicemail. As a result of this store cancelling my appointment, they blocked my online profile from making any further appointments. I tried for three days to reschedule online and then finally called the store. I spoke to a very rude employee who told me there was no block on my account. This was not true. He continued to repeat there was no block on my account, despite me telling him that there was. After going back and forth, he says-now I am going to block you because you are being rude. It makes no sense to me that the employee would continue to tell me there isn’t a block on my account when there is. I told him I would show him when I arrive and he said there is no need for that because I checked. He did not check. There is a block on my account and this store was completely irresponsible in helping to solve the issue that they caused. The most unprofessional employee I have ever worked with. If he didn’t know how to fix it or didn’t want to fix, that would have been better than trying to tell me that the block I was receiving didn’t exist and that there store wasn’t responsible for causing it. He should not be allowed to engage with customers at all!
