I was looking for doggie daycare for my 8lb Yorkiepoo and this was the first facility I visited so I had no comparison. I spoke with Michelle who was very nice and we made an appointment for my furbaby to do the recommended 4hr temperament test. Upon arrival I was greeted (barely) by someone else who seemed very indifferent about my business. She answered my questions but again, barely. And when I asked for a tour after the temperment test I was told I could not have one because of the snow and ice out back - it was just after the winter storm so that was plausible. Nonetheless, I left her for the test and when I picked her up she seemed content so I took her the following week. When my husband and I picked her up that evening she was still in her coat and was cold to the touch. When I asked why I was told by a 3rd worker that she "was just chillen on the couch" and her coat was kept on because she had free range to come and go as she pleased. Initially what drew me to this location was the crate free environment that I was told about. I didn't believe that just meant she would be left to sit on a couch in her coat all day with no structure. While not a deal breaker for some, the blasé attitude about it didn't sit well with me. Aside from Michelle the other two I encountered in addition to not knowing the actual conditions of the facility made it an easy decision for me not to return.

It seems their previous groomer is no longer there, and unfortunately the quality has really declined. The new groomer, Dani, did a very poor job with my dog. His coat was unevenly shaved, especially around the face and body, and overall looked rushed and unprofessional. I also noticed a yellow residue around his tear duct, which made it seem like his face wasn’t properly cleaned. This was a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. I did express my displeasure with the grooming service and the young lady that took my payment was like "Ok".

I brought my dog in today to get a bath and haircut as I had made an appointment. The young lady who took our appointment had the nastiest attitude and upon arrival today, the young lady servicing us was so nonchalant and had no interest. I've brought another dog of mine here before and never had these issues. I requested a bath and cut for my dog and upon pick up I noticed my dog seemed distraught. She smelled the same as when I dropped her off, indicating she was never bathed and her leg was knicked by the clippers but the lady never told me, I only noticed when I got home but I saw the change in my dog's behavior when i picked her up. I was charged $75 for half done work, my dog was upset and I will NEVER come back to this groomers. I have been here before and never had these issues and it's absolutely devastating that someone would do this to a dog. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would.

My doggo and I HIGHLY recommend Paws ‘N Play. Dakota is a 2 year-old Labrador retriever Mix and has A LOT of energy. Whenever I pick her up, she is napping the whole car ride home and ready for bed when we get home. All the staff are extremely nice and are amazing at communication! They always let me know how she acted throughout the day, how socializing with other dogs is going, and if she ate dinner or not! I truly appreciate all they do, they truly go ABOVE and BEYOND!! They have birthday parties and even holiday parties (pictures attached are photos provided by the staff from their Halloween Party). I love my dog and I know that when she’s at Paws ‘N Play she’s not only having fun, but she is being monitored to ensure the environment is safe for her and other dogs. If you are considering to bring your dog here, I recommend reaching out to them and at least setting up an evaluation time to make sure they are a right fit for you & that you’re a right fit for them. Dakota goes every week, and its always the best day of her week :)
