She has a great "bedside" manner and is both warm and professional, in addition to being highly knowledgeable. I would absolutely return specifically for Dr. Om. Only caution: Banfield is more expensive than other clinics I've been to, and I wouldn't buy prescription medicine here.

- SESharon EldorJul 29, 20263.0As our dog gets older, she needs more frequent care and prescription refills. The medical care at this location has been excellent, which is why we continue coming here. Unfortunately, refilling prescriptions has become a major problem. Every time we need a refill, we call, then call again a couple of days later, and often end up having to stop by in person—only to find it’s still not ready. We then wait at the front desk, sometimes for up to an hour, just to get a prescription that was requested days earlier. This happens every 2–4 weeks. On one occasion, a staff member processed the refill promptly after our phone call, and the experience was smooth. We later found out she doesn’t usually work at the front desk. This process simply isn’t sustainable. We value the care our dog receives here, but the prescription refill system needs to improve.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
