  No reps available to help me in fish area. No one at register. Associate did show up and get me some fish but had to stop midway because there was a line at the register. He came back and filled my order but when we went back to the register there was a long line of people waiting to check out. There was one woman checking people out and once the associate who helped me got to the register the line moved quickly. Whoever manages this location needs to schedule and manage staff better to ensure associates are available to work floor and check people out.

  I never owned a cat as a pet. I was gifted one kitten after losing my dog two years ago. Because it was a kitten, I had no idea of the cat's gender to name it. I went to PetSmart because it was closer to me. The two employees were too clueless to help me and talked in circles, showing they were only there to operate the cash registers, but they did not know anything about animals. I drove to Petco, and the employees, even though they weren't veterinarians, immediately were able to tell me right away. Even if they were wrong, I am grateful they didn't loop me around with nonsense, but they had the commitment to help me even though I did not have anything with me to purchase at that point. After they helped me, I didn't doubt buying what I would need in the future. Regardless, I could find it cheaper in another place.

  Honestly, I found everything I was looking for and the staff are always super nice and knowledgeable. It’s just really off putting to see the way they treat their animals. They’re not housed properly by any means even for temporary enclosures. It’s super upsetting. I’d be fearful of buying a small pet from this location specifically based on what i’ve seen. Hamsters just sitting on shelves. No water in enclosures. Wheels flipped over, preventing animals from getting food or water. Simple quick fixes that genuinely any associate could do. Don’t even get me started on the dead fish.. it’s just.. disappointing..

  This is hands down the best petco location i have ever been to. I've been in and out of both corporate owned and mom and pop pet stores around the state, and this specific store still takes the cake. I recall walking in the doors with my partner, looking to find a few random pet items, and both of us looking at each other and saying "wow". This location is clean, well stocked, cats are clean and happy, animals were incredibly clean and all eating fresh foods..... and the cherry on top for me was the employees. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and there wasn't a single employee i saw in the building that wasn't busting their butt unloading a u boat, picking an order, or helping a pet parent. I 100% will be back.
