We'd been running from pet store to pet store looking for hermit crabs. We had been told by the last store they had some in stock. They did not have any. So we called this store and we were told they definitely had some. So we drove to Annapolis from Glen Burnie. The young lady, whose name has escaped me, will helped us was fantastic and I wanted to let Petco know we had a great experience thanks to that employee.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, spectacular selection of pet accessories AND an entertaining array of many many types of animals. Many of the pets are babies. Every last one of the creatures in this shop seems to be healthy and happy. The staff love the animals. I only go for feeder crickets and they are 100% helpful and kind. I bring in the grandchildren whenever I can. This Store is more than a small joy in this grey world.

All of the employees said hello to me and my dog as we walked around the store. Everyone is very friendly. Petco in Annapolis has a nice selection of Halloween costumes.

My two older kittens were lucky enough to be cared for by the Vetco staff in Bowie. Unfortunately, today I took my third rescued kitten in to be examined and treated for fleas and parasites which was my main concern. I even made appointments for my two older kittens since they had been in contact with the rescue, but the staff didn't even look at them; they just said they were up-to-date on everything, even though I explained I wanted to prevent an infestation since the new kitten had one. I also mentioned that one of my older cats had diarrhea and the baby’s stool contained mucus, but they ignored it. They just told me to call a clinic or hospital to ask if they offered injectable flea treatment, since I had said I didn't want topical treatment (because with three of them, they might lick it off). But that’s not the worst part: they charged me as if my kitten had received full services, yet all he got was a take-home fecal test kit and a syringe containing 4mg of a yellow liquid supposedly for distemper. Right now, I have no idea what the heck that liquid actually is, and I’m back home with the same worry: my kitten hasn't been treated and still has parasites. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for them to investigate what happened. But what about my kitten? What about the safety of my other pets? I do not recommend this Vetco van; it is the worst service in the world. They are completely unprofessional and don't care about your pets' health or safety. I’ve now made an appointment at the Petco location where my older cats were seen so I can take the baby there tomorrow and try to get some help, since I already paid for a service my kitten never received.
