  This was the only groomer I dared take our sweet Newfoundland to get a nice and always much needed and appreciated groom. Our girl is eight. She’s getting old for a large dog. I dropped her off, to a surprisingly new set up. It used to be grooming tables in the first room, and the dogs would hang out wherever between the two rooms. Usually, I’d pick up and Leia would be in the back room in a large crate. This is my personal experience. Today, the first room, Leia was left alone with a small dog surrounded by baby gates. Note, this is also how I picked her up. I excitedly dropped Leia off after telling all of Leia’s fan club(neighbors, friends and relatives) how beautiful she would look this day! After ten minutes, I get a text saying Leia ripped off their door frame and I needed to get her asap. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. There was no conversation to be had just look at what “your dog” did. The same “dog” I’ve received nothing but positivity for eight years. What I saw was a skinny narrow piece of wood on the ground. Not an actual frame which shocked me! Even still our girl is not destructive of anyone’s home, EVER. Your grass may be in jeopardy however. This was handled so poorly. So unprofessional. I was in shock. Leia was very clingy the next two days. I wasn’t even allowed a conversation by the owner, stating how this happened and if Leia was 💯 to blame, any costs to fix the decorative frame. We were just dropped and left feeling horrible. Nasty texts by them are all we have.

  The absolute best spot to bring your pup! We love bringing Rexi to wizard of paws. The team is so loving and treat our lady like their own.

  Wizard of Paws is the best. Dorothy and the team take such good care of our dog when we bring her there for grooming. She always comes back looking amazing and they’re really great about working with all different types of dogs and explaining what they can do for our pup. We are lucky to have a place like this in our neighborhood.

  I’ve been bringing my dogs to Dorothy for a few years now and she always does such an amazing job. They can be a lot, especially my springer who can be very anxious. She always treats them with love and care. I don’t know what shampoo they use but my dogs always come home smelling great! It’s also super easy to schedule an appointment.
