  I work at a Vet ER so the fact I even have to POST THIS is awful and shows the high level of neglect, my roommate had her 21st birthday and had a very long night.. this AM they sold a betta fish without ANY checking for if they had a filtered tank or any sort of knowledge!! I am now stuck with a betta fish setting up an emergency tank with my friends cycled tank water because of this store's staff negligence!!! Every other pet store has sign advertising proper betta care except Petco and it is appalling!

  What a terrible experience!! Me and my girlfriend went there recently looking for Cory's and some guppies just see the not well kept tanks and all dead fish in each one. Next there's a odor near the fishes not sure if from decaying fish or pla t materials but it doesn't smell great. Im mostly moved by that there where many dead fish from all fresh water all the way down to the saltwater fishes. Like we saw one tank angel fish attacking each other, another Cory's and catfish ripping dead fish apart for food. They probably don't even feed them or clean those tanks. They look disgusting and atrocious. Next was that they're not like gentle with catching fish and aggressive with catching them we had few Cory's pass away from them because they either got there fins or whiskers stuck in the net or on something in the tank. Staff there could care less about anything and very rude not pleasant and always look unhappy.

  They didn’t have what I was looking for and said they don’t carry it though it says they do online. Cashier didn’t even look just said we don’t have it.

  The vet clinic is set up in an aisle in the back corner which was odd. The doctor wasn't helpful, said the cat was overweight but didn't give any additional advice for what the diet should be instead. Brought up an eye concern, was told to go see an ophthalmologist. Not helpful. Don't waste your time/money. Go somewhere else.
