  I had an absolutely incredible experience at Petco in Swampscott, and I can’t say enough great things about Ashley. From the moment I walked in, she made the entire adoption process for my chameleon enjoyable, stress-free, and exciting. Ashley was exceptionally patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping both pets and their owners. As a first time chameleon owner, I had a lot of questions, and she took the time to answer every single one thoroughly without ever making me feel rushed. She explained everything from habitat setup and lighting requirements to feeding and long term care, ensuring I felt confident and prepared before bringing my new pet home. What stood out most was how much she truly cared. Ashley wasn’t focused on making a sale, she was focused on making sure my chameleon would have the best possible home and that I had all the information I needed to succeed. Her expertise, professionalism, and kindness made the entire experience memorable. If you’re considering adopting a pet or have questions about reptile care, I highly recommend visiting Petco in Swampscott and asking for Ashley. She went above and beyond, and thanks to her, I left feeling excited, informed, and completely confident in my decision. Petco is lucky to have such an outstanding employee!

  I think every single person was on lunch in the fish department. Was there 20 min and no help at all.

  Went in memorial day, 2 employees sat in the fish area talking. I went to make my purchase at register.The employees were clueless, i waited.... no one came. I left the product on the counter and walked out. Thanks petco!

  I just wanted to say that JESS in Swampscott is amazing. My girl Holly is always so calm with her, and that matters a lot to me. I’ve been to Jess three times now after going to PetSmart in Salem for years, and those visits were always stressful for both my dog and myself. I will only have Jess do my Holly girl’s nails from now on. It’s like Jess has this peaceful aura about her that makes my dog relax, and because Holly is relaxed, I’m relaxed too. Thank you, Jess!
