I had a good experience at this place. They are attentive, took really good care of my cat. We brought her two times already, one for a check up and then this week for a dental cleaning. They did a great job with the cleaning. The next day they followed up with us to make sure everything was ok with my cat. We recommend this location!

I never make a point of leaving bad reviews because any one experience doesn’t define a business but this one was fairly frustrating.
After receiving 4 different reminders to confirm the appointment (I did) and arriving on time for said appointment we were immediately placed in an exam room (with one other owner in the waiting room). One person came in after 20m to tell us someone would be in shortly. No one else came for another half hour. 50m later and only after I returned to the waiting room with a bit of an attitude did they instantly take my dog back and have her returned to me within 10m with a rushed apology.
I work in medicine. I know how days go. This wasn’t an ED evaluation. This was a clinic appointment. Being late is one thing. Being an hour late is another. Doing so with only one checkin to update me is unprofessional.

Banfield has been very helpful and accommodating since switching to them as my vet. With them I know my whole pack of dogs is taken care of.

Do not recommend unless you want your dog in the crate all day for every minor issue
Appointments are almost always “drop off.” Even though we were told we could pick our dog up in a few hours, we were consistently waiting to get him at 4pm panicking that we could not pick up our actual human kids at daycare by closing time. We asked many times to have our dog out earlier because we also didn’t want him in the crate all day but they left him in the crate all day and said that was normal. I haven’t experienced this at other vets.
They also told me our dog was overweight and said owners never like to hear this information. I wouldn’t mind hearing it if he was actually overweight! But I got two other vets opinion since then and they said he is perfect weight. I was stressed about his weight for months. I don’t recommend this vet.
Frequently Asked Questions About Banfield Pet Hospital
Does Banfield provide emergency care services?
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Can I get veterinary care online?
To help pets and their people stay healthy, Banfield clients who have Optimum Wellness Plans® can get remote general pet care advice and triage support directly from a veterinarian 24/7 through Vet Chat™ on the Banfield app.
What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:
• Vaccinations
• Dental Care
• Parasite Control
• Nutritional Counseling
• Behavioral Counseling
• Comprehensive Examinations
What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
