- MKMichelle KellyJul 20, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My 7-year-old Golden Retriever has been professionally groomed many times and has never reacted the way he did at this appointment. The moment we arrived, he didn’t want to go in and when they brought him into the kennels he was barking excessively and didn’t want to go inside, which was completely out of character for him. When I picked him up, I was told that he had hit his head while in the kennel. They cleaned the wound, he came home with a large graze on his head that had been bleeding with some blood still on his fur. Seeing my dog come home injured was upsetting and completely unacceptable. What concerns me most is how anxious he was. He has never shown this level of distress at a grooming appointment before, and it makes me question what his experience was like while he was there. I have requested to see any available CCTV footage so I can better understand what happened, and I hope Petco takes responsibility for the incident. While I understand accidents can happen, I expect my dog to be cared for safely while he is in someone else’s care. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence, and I will not be returning.

- DRDeena RackiJun 26, 20265.0I have ALWAYS gone to a private groomer, who charged a lot less than Petco, but the reason wasn't the money, it was that I only trusted that one girl to do my Pom-Bichon Prince ❤️ Hoeever, when we moved here I decided to try & we chose Karen and I have to say wow did we get lucky! Rocket ADORES her & that's because she is EXTRA CARING, not only about my dogs needs, etc but also as a groomer she is an absolute perfectionist, and does a very thorough job, literally head to nails :) Rocket has been going to her for 2 years now and she is really the best! Very professional, knowledgeable & so very good with the dogs. She cares so much! Best groomer ever!
