  We normally love to take our dog there. But last time we requested an international certificate to be able to travel and got quotes $790. This is just plain price gouging knowing that we need to take a trip in a few days and finding someone else would be tough. I'm sorry but paying a flight to Europe worth of money just for a 5 min test and some paperwork is a non starter boundaring on scam

  Posting my email to Bond Vet that they never responded to, even after I reached out several times. On July 12, I brought my cat to Bond Vet for blood work after noticing that she had lost some weight. During my visit, I was asked whether I wanted to pay an additional fee for expedited blood work results or if I was comfortable waiting. I chose the standard option, expecting, based on my experiences with other veterinary hospitals, to receive the results within a day. Instead, three days passed without any communication. Around 4:00 p.m. on the third day, I received an email informing me that my cat's blood work showed serious kidney injury as well as a heart abnormality, although the underlying cause was unclear. I was extremely disappointed that such significant and distressing medical news was communicated solely by email rather than through a phone call from the veterinarian. Receiving potentially life-altering information about a beloved pet in this manner felt impersonal and prevented me from asking the many questions I understandably had. In the email, the vet urged us to schedule a follow-up appointment to check my cat's blood pressure. We immediately arranged an appointment and arrived at the Bond Vet location within approximately 45 minutes. I expected that this would provide an opportunity to speak directly with the veterinarian who had examined my cat. However, I was informed that she was not even there. After expressing how important it was for me to speak with a veterinarian, another veterinarian agreed to meet with us. I appreciate that he took time out of his schedule to do so. However, he began the conversation by stating, "I have five minutes to answer questions." While I understand he was not the veterinarian managing my cat's case and was trying to accommodate us, the interaction felt rushed during an incredibly emotional and stressful situation. In my opinion, this is not an appropriate way to communicate serious or potentially devastating medical information to a client. I have owned pets for many years and have worked with several veterinary hospitals, and I have never experienced this level of delayed and impersonal communication regarding significant medical findings. In addition to these concerns, I also experienced difficulties when Bond Vet attempted to send my cat's medical records to the specialty hospital where she was referred for further evaluation. The inability to send medical records created additional frustration during an already stressful time. My cat is now undergoing extensive testing with another veterinary team and is currently being evaluated for either cancer or feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). The level of communication, compassion, and urgency we have experienced elsewhere has highlighted how differently this situation could have been handled. I do want to acknowledge that the veterinary technicians we interacted with were consistently kind, compassionate, and attentive. The veterinarian who initially examined my cat was also personable and appeared knowledgeable during our appointment. My complaint is not about the clinical care she provided during the examination, but rather about the communication surrounding serious test results and the lack of urgency in discussing them directly with me. My hope in submitting this complaint is not simply to express my disappointment, but to encourage Bond Vet to review its communication practices. Clients receiving serious or potentially life-threatening diagnoses deserve timely, compassionate, and direct communication from their veterinarian. A phone call, with an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance, should be the standard of care in situations such as these. I sincerely hope my experience leads to improvements so that other families do not have to endure the same unnecessary distress during an already difficult time.

  I was frankly shocked at all the ways this place was awesome. Got an appointment for an hour after going online to book it and was seen promptly. The vet was respectful and thorough and did a great job with my kitty. I could tell she was already feeling much better by the time we got home and was back to her smiley self. Side note, I’ve never wanted to spend more time in a lobby, it smelled so nice and felt like a spa. The exam fee was very reasonable but it got waived as we were first timers but we will definitely be coming back if any of our kitties needs urgent help.

  We had Dr. Carol (she didn’t even introduce herself had to ask at check out to make sure if we ever go back we would explicitly ask for another vet). She examined our puppy like a grown adult dog, we usually go to another vet, but since it’s the long weekend and we are going out of town we needed her ears examined before we left as she is uncomfortable). I have been bringing her kibble with us to all our vet appointments so it becomes a happy place! However, this vet started by saying to not give her any treats, only one every 3 minutes, because she would throw them up in the car. We live 4 minutes away, and additionally she does exceptionally well in the car. I stopped and giving her treats, When she couldn’t manage her (because our puppy was just confused) she turns to me to tell me I can now give her one piece of kibble. She just manhandled her at a fear free clinic and our puppy was afraid. Then she examines her ears (which stink) and say her ears are too clean but smell like poop. She also said she didn’t have enough for a culture to be sent to the lab (when our older dog needed his swabbed we just took a little bit) I told her I truly think we have enough through the crevices. No culture or examination was taken. Proceeded to ask us why we thought she had an ear infection (for the fourth time) and we repeated ourselves. She then asked us if she came from a farm. And why she was wet where pee came from, to which we said, she just peed? Seemed she didn’t understand dog anatomy? Her tone was just extremely condescending which was a first for us! Yet claim to be a fear free clinic. Maybe this is a bad experience from a good clinic but, unless it’s an emergency, we will not be back. She also proceeded to put her on the floor after I told her our puppy doesn’t have all her shots, and proceeded to ask which shots does she have, at that point I said for her not to worry about that because we have an actual vet that knows her schedule… I left feeling extremely disrespected and concerned about the situation. Ended up calling our vet, they gave us the go ahead to proceed with drops but to bring her in a bit earlier to examine her. So that’s what we will do.
