  Great first experience with Vetco. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable accommodating my Bernese Mountain Dog able to manage his size and strength to position for vaccination. Highly recommend. Great service!

  Being a seasoned ER vet tech, I was not only blown away by amazing loving bedside manner from our (side-note, gorgeous !) DVM and all of the techs and assistants that Ninja and Patchouli received for their wellness updates, but the excellent skill and laughs I had with the doc ! Patchouli has crazy loose skin and Ninja has tiny veins and she was an amazing stick for their 4dx tests ! And I was smitten giggling when she didn’t want to make border collie emotional support pillow Patchouli move to get a better angle for Ninja’s blood draw ! We were honored to have 4 staff members in the room snuggling for some bonus love time ! You made me feel so proud of my pups and they had such an easy and loving experience! You are all incredible and you went out of your way to give them a good experience ! It makes my heart swoon since it’s been so hard to have them see friends being so chronically ill with EDS and POTS ! Thank you SO much for making a medical visit such a fun time for all three of us <3 truly I was blown away with your patient care ! Extra shoutout to the tech up front who found the right docs like Sherlock Holmes in my chaos folders within about a minute! And to the extra love from joey and my other VA/VT friend I didn’t catch your name I’m sorry ! (TBI history, I apologize for my memory deficit but I appreciate you all !). Patchouli sends an extra thanks for noticing his BBL love handles LOL ! You guys are awesome ! Thanks for making that a super fun visit ! We had a blast with you and you clearly all have beautiful hearts and are an absolute asset to veterinary medicine !!!!!

  Even though I didn't go here, but my review of four stars is because this is a place that I noticed families were going to buy and purchase stuffs for their pets and for my reviews and what I have noticed in the past. Petco was always the place to go. Anything you're looking for you could find it and with the service of people with the knowledge of helping you give it a chance. Petco can make your pet feel good. My rating four stars but if the day comes that I will get a pet this will be the store I will go

  Went here today Saturday June /13/26 I took both of my 2 little furr babies 🐶 to the Father's Day photo - opt event they where having in- store. I've been here a few times last summer when I got my 1st puppy , they most definitely look like they've redone there store. A HUGE shout- out goes to Bucky and Brooke for being beyond friendly and welcoming. My other puppy usually doesn't go to strangers / people he doesn't know, he was all over Bucky , usually he'll stay away back or growl back at them ; or beyond on guard this was most definitely a first and We'd were so glad to see it! Both my puppies enjoyed themselves and had a great time this afternoon. I'll most definitely come back to another one of Shrewsbury's Petco in- store events in the near future. Thanks Bucky & Brooke for making our experience a FUN & more enjoyable experience! I'm so glad to see warm welcoming friendly people like both of them helping hosting events !! I look forward to coming back to your store in the near future sometime. This by far was the absolute BEST visit I've had at this Petco , the last couple of time's it wasn't a fun experience etc. Keep up the great work Shrewsbury Petco !! I hope your do more events during the summer ☀️ months ? Thanks , for a good memorable day .

  This Petco has been known in the past to have set to expire food in the back fridge, in which every time the manager on duty would give me a % off due to it’s deadline. Their was one guy at the register who called the manager on duty (3:10pm, (which I never met), I will say she wasn’t in uniform, looked like she rolled out of bed, and was very rude (blonde hair/piercings) .Today’s 6/10/26 and the FreshPet expires 6/17/26, you have a 5 day period of using it anyways after opening. She looks at me and says “so what are you asking me because this is 7 days from now, and you would just be feeding your dogs it anyways … right”. I was just going to buy it as a courtesy to see if they will give me a % since they will be throwing it, or selling it to someone who isn’t looking at the date risking their dog to get sick. No manager should speak to a customer in such a demeanor, and make me feel stupid as if I don’t know it’s 7 days with a line of customers. I will not be coming to this location after that and not to mention knowing that they will risk selling an almost expired package of chicken to someone, rather than just giving 10% off is insane to me. Poor customer service
