If you’re going for the self wash station, spare yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. They have this strange automated machine that “regulates” everything from the water pressure to the shampoo and the hair dryer. One station doesn’t work at all, the other two only half work. The water pressure is terrible and the hair dryers are worse than the hand dryers in a 1990’s McDonalds. The ledge that is built around the wash station is so incredibly large that you end up either completely soaked or completely in pain leaning over to reach your pet. I’m 6’2” and my dog is large btw typically easy to wash her in a regular stainless wash tub like I’ve used at other stores. The staff were all very kind and apologetic for the terrible conditions of the self wash stations, as if they already knew what was up but couldn’t do anything about it themselves.

Found everything I needed plus a couple fun toys for my dog. The Saugus store has terrific service - always friendly and helpful - which makes Petco a standout in this area 👍
