I’m not the type of person who typically writes reviews, and I’ve been sitting on this since Feb. but do not bring you pets to Dr. Dickinson. She was not only rude to me, but traumatized my dog. She forced a leather muzzle that was too small over his nose because it was “all she had.” She also used a holding technique that is considered outdated. When I questioned this she told me I “wasn’t a doctor.” I will admit I was upset and probably not my kindest, but I have owned several dogs and have experience in vet med so I can tell when something is off. She was extraordinarily hostile and when my dog had anxiety from her behavior to him, she said “well it’s not like he’s a golden retriever.” I will admit my dog can be reactive at the vet, but I have never seen him in that much fear and he has since to demonstrate that much fear when we switched practices. I have connections to the vet world and consulted multiple people about what occurred in that appointment and all of them were horrified. Other providers in this practice have been kind, but this is not a fear friendly clinic at all.

I have a very anxious pup. I’ve had the worst luck finding a doctor who I felt truly cared about my dog and what his behavioral issues are, usually it’s always docs prescribing meds. Dr.Welsh and her staff were out of this world, they took over two hours with my dog, gaining trust and observing him and never forced him to the back to do any kind of treatment (though I gave them permission because he was refusing nail trim). I really have no words for all the staff here, I can’t wait to see how much Blue grows with this kind of care and treatment. He allowed them to touch him, trim his nails and he’s never done that before. We got SO much information from just our first visit, everything was explained before adding to his treatment, you can tell how much they love animals. I will be bringing my other pup for services as well 🩷

we love bringing Jingle Bell and Leia here. Leia has been a patient for 5 years, and Jingle Bell is a new puppy. We all love our pets so much - keep that in mind when you're reading 1 star reviews. Emotions are high. All Creatures is wonderful and professional and we are grateful they care for our dogs.

I have been bringing my 2 cats to all creatures for nearly 4 years. One of my cats is a bit high maintenance and likes to keep us on our toes. Most recently, he’s decided his mild reaction to vaccines is a full blown allergy. After receiving two vaccines, I took him home and it was clear he was having a reaction. I called all creatures and they told me to bring him back so the Dr could check him out. I, of course, was absolutely freaking out. Immediately upon entering the clinic, they assured me he was ok it was just an allergic reaction. The receptionist immediately offered me water and a private room. They rushed my cat back to get checked out. He was completely fine by this point, but they still monitored him for a little bit and gave him meds. Every step of the way all of the staff I interacted with reassured me that he was ok and helped to calm me down. Every time my cats have had any sort of issue (which half the time is just me being overcautious) the staff at All Creatures has made sure to listen to me and validate any of my concerns. If there’s ever been a test, treatment, medication etc that I wasn’t sure about they’ve taken the time to weigh out options and go through the pros and cons. As everyone knows vet costs can be high, and I tend to want to run every possible test. The drs at all creatures have always let me know which ones are actually necessary vs which ones are just my overcautiousness. I’ve never felt like they tried to oversell or make a quick buck. Every time I bring my cats in, the clinic always calls a day or two later to check in on the cats. As any clinic (in animal med or human) sometimes they are absolutely slammed and do not immediately answer the phone. However, I’ve always gotten a call back. They also have the option to schedule appointments online through their portal. They also can be reached by email, which again I’ve always gotten a timely response to.

My cat is terrified of strangers and we have had very positive experiences at All Creatures, especially with Dr. Welch, who was incredibly gentle and kind. They have pheromone towels in the waiting room, which is very helpful for my nervous kitty. This practice is also still individually-owned, which is increasingly rare in the vet world (where practices are quickly being bought up by private equity). We also felt that the price was reasonable for a vet. At the end of the day, this is medicine and many of the procedures are similar to those that a human receives, for a small fraction of the price. They were upfront and transparent about pricing, which I appreciated. We're very happy with All Creatures.
