- TGTomato GalMay 11, 20261.0I have previously bought aquatic plants from this location with no problem. The last time I went in all of the tanks, fish, plants, coral, everything was infested with snails. I was so close to putting these plants in my tank, but thankfully noticed they had snails on them. When I took them back to the location, and said it was infested with snails, they just rang them back in to go on the floor. Someone not as experienced with tanks is going to get these and have a HUGE SNAIL PROBLEM. They breed like rabbits. I have 5 large mystery snails, so I can see the eggs and freeze them right away. If those snails got in my tanks... Would have DESTORYED them and overrun my fish as well. Pet stores need to be more responsible and CURB snail breeding. I understand snails happen, but again I'm talking INFESTED. Snails have a huge bio load too, so the fish in the shop are also swimming in unsafe water.
