  Since May, the fire alarm at this Petco has been constantly beeping, and it can be heard from over 1,000 yards away in the surrounding neighborhood. Multiple residents from different apartment buildings have complained about it, including calls to Petco corporate, yet months later it’s still going. Why hasn’t this been fixed? If it’s a faulty alarm, why can’t it simply be turned off until it’s repaired? Are the managers just walking past it every day? Residents have had to listen to this nonstop all summer, and it’s incredibly frustrating. Please fix the alarm. It’s unfair to everyone who lives nearby and should have been addressed months ago.

  I have several reptiles and amphibians so I am in a petco usually at least four times a week for crickets and other supplies. I recently needed to upgrade an enclosure for a snake I have and because I am a rewards member and there was a great sale going on I ended up getting a perfect new enclosure for a great price. I was helped by Amando who has also helped me other times in the Medford store with different things that I have needed. I am writing this review to say that he is an excellent employee who has definitely gone above and beyond a few times with assistance and being able to answer questions I have had. I think the Medford store is the best around this area as far as being clean, well stocked, and having the best most helpful employees.

  I went to the Petco in Medford at Meadow Glenn. Horrible employees! Rude, inconsiderate, too busy on her phone to really care about what I needed for my dog who was sick and in need of medicine that was locked in a cabinet. This is most likely the reason I stopped shopping for pet supplies here. It was on my way home and convenient. Never again!! I will drive out of my way to go to PetSmart on RT 1. They have wonderful staff and never have I been given an attitude from an employee. The employees at PetSmart always greet you with a smile. Don't waste your time going to Petco. Staff should not have personal phones on the sales floor or at a register. You are getting paid to take care of customers not watching trends on TikTok! Get your employees in check!! You'll never get my business again.

  I'm basing this review solely on the self dog wash, it was pretty dismal. 2 of the 3 tubs were not working, they sit low , which is ok for big dogs, but back breaking when you have small ones. Their automated shampoo buttons don't work, though they did have a bottle of shampoo available. The water was scalding hot, and had terrible pressure, no way to adjust either. The towels were tiny, and thread bare. The dryer was absolutely useless, 2 settings, neither could produce enough air to even see my small dogs skin through his coat. Had to leave with 2 very soggy little dogs, not worth the $40 I had to pay for that.
