  Brought my dog for a “grooming appointment” come to find out I made the mistake of booking for a different location. Mansfield was beyond accommodating and took my dog in with no problems. My dog came out happy, clean and smelling great. I will regularly bring my dog here for grooming services. I also have had to bring my cats to the vet here and they were great as well. One night I needed last minute medication and this store went above and beyond to get my pet necessary medication. I am so happy with this Petco!

  Came in to this place and was asked if my dog had rabies vaccine when clearly the collar chain was on his neck and it was right there in the computer. I had to pull up my dogs information to show the lady and she seen the date and asked when does it expire. From my knowledge , you know they expire enter from when the shot is taken. Moving along, as the lady was taking my dog, i let her know my dog may be a bit nervous because he is afraid of other dogs, she then resounded “ i understand , u am afraid of people and only like dogs. Okay very awkward /and weird. You shouldn’t be working front desk because you will have to interact with people. I then waited over 4 hours for her to give my puppy a bad haircut when i told her to keep him fluffy and about 3/4. My puppy was cut down to about almost skin , she did a very bad job. Shaved and burned his testicles and belly.when i came to pick my pup up , i found him with a gay flag that i did not pay for or request around him. Sand a bar haircut. Being respectful , i left a 5$ tip when she deserved nothing and left. Racial discrimination and sexual harassment right there. I’m not sure if this location does not get black customers but i am not the 1 or 2 and the micro aggressions were clocked and will be reported.

  My mini poodles, Coffee and Choco without the late, 🤭 have been going to Mansfield Petco since they were about 4 months old. Liberty, one of the groomers, has been taking care of them since day one. She is incredibly sweet, very gentle, and always does an amazing job with their cuts. You can truly tell she loves poodles—it shows in the care and detail she puts into her work. I recommend her 100%! Overall, the entire Mansfield Petco staff is wonderful—always kind, attentive, and helpful with customer of all type 🐾🐩

  I wouldn’t even give it a one. My daughter has been taking her Silky Terrier which is her emotional support dog there since he was a puppy (now 6 yrs old). My daughter took her pup in August 2024 and one of the groomers cut one of his nails short and put Styptic Powder on it. Rachael the groomer told my daughter she cut it too short to keep an eye on it. Rachael never stated that she was ever bit. Well here we are in March and my daughter called to get his nails clipped again. They were rude and said that he can’t ever go to Petco again because he bit someone. My daughter was informed that last time he was there he bit a groomer Rachael. The same one that made him bleed 🩸. My daughter was never notified of this and now the dog can never be groomed there again. They said they can’t because they don’t have a muzzle policy. The *itch hurt the dog what do you expect and they neglected to say something then because they cut his nails short and made him bleed. He’s been going to Petco groomers for 6 years and now he is a vicious dog? BEWARE!!
