- DEDee EllenJun 29, 20265.0I’ve read through some of the comments here and I just want to say you can’t even get your dogs nails clipped or register them with your city without the proper documentation in order so I don’t know why you would expect any different at An animal clinic. Especially one servicing dozens of animals a day, from dogs to cats, birds and lizards.. Most people initially have taken their dog to a vet and have vaccine records readily available through a portal or keeping a folder, They then move to places like Petco to cut costs when the vet isn’t necessary I try to use their services as often as I can, Number one it’s half the price of the vet less than half. They can get a little crowded, But if you make your appointments well in advance, you can pick a time a day That isn’t As busy., I do wish there was a way to give ppl with dog reactive pets a little more room, But at least you’re not confined& Have room to walk off’, OverallI’ve had more good experiences then not And if your pet is healthy and doesn’t need the overpriced Corporate vet office visit that care more about profits then the quality of care They give, Along with pushing products& meds , you can get anywhere elsewhere @ half the cost And still not giving you the time of day or a Thorough exam. ., 8 years later 1 of my dogs will still walk through the door so that’sReassuring , The system isn’t perfect, and they are human like the rest of us and could be having a bad day, Or just running behind and overwhelmed with the amount of people himmin & haaaaahhing because ppl think their time is more valuable than the next person’s As well as being super entitled, selfish and thoughtless, But in my opinion, it beats 99% of the vet offices in my area, I don’t have to cough up $120 just to walk through the door and my dog is getting the same level of care she would at a vets office, And I’ve used at least three different locations
