Just got our new cat and, although the staff was very friendly and helpful, this was not a good first experience.

Sometimes the pet wash station during the weekends are dirty(full of hair) from previous dogs being washed - attention required. Most of the staff are new and seems very welcoming.
- MSMary Ellen SweeneyJul 15, 20261.0I have had good experiences at Petco for over 20 years, but recently I was very disappointed. I have 2 Petco buckets that hold 30 lbs of litter. I have been refilling them for years, but on July 2 I was told that I couldn't use those buckets anymore, that I would have to get the new buckets. I have had two of those newer ones in the past and they are nowhere near as sturdy as the old ones. The handles broke on both. They said they would accept the old ones this one time, but in the future they wouldn't. Petco's old buckets are perfect, they hold the same amount of litter, the bar code still works, so what is the problem? I am thinking of giving up on Petco and going to another store for my litter. This was at the Hingham store. I can't tell you how disappointed I am!
