Absolutely terrible experience. Every single time I scheduled an appointment, they called me afterward to reschedule because the doctor was supposedly going to be in surgery at the time of my appointment. Then they would ask if I could just do a drop-off instead.
What is the point of making an appointment if they repeatedly change it at the last minute and expect the patient to accommodate their schedule? This happened multiple times, and it is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating.
The lack of organization and respect for their patients’ time is honestly ridiculous. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I usually have such a great experience with Dr. Cooley and the staff. So I’m really disappointed in writing this review. I called to schedule a dental cleaning for my dog. I did not realize it would not be with his normal vet aka Dr. Cooley, but I should have also asked. Now I know better.
After the dental cleaning I noticed he was quite lethargic. I expected this, but he is still crying the morning after. I paid extra for sanos dental sealants as well. As my dog has had them in the past. When I looked into my dogs mouth after the “cleaning” Tatar was everywhere and there were no dental sealants placed. It looked like he hadn’t even been treated. Normally with the sealants you are given post operative instructions not to brush for 1 week and you can see the white material on the teeth. No material was seen and no instructions were given. I took photos of the Tatar as evidence.
I called the office and was told the vet would call me. 1 hour passed and no call. I call the office again. They told me the vet would call me before she left for the day. Again, I waited by my phone and NO CALL. I called this morning and requested the office manager, but was told they are in another location and won’t get back to me for a few days. Again, no explanation for why the vet did not call.
Still no call from the vet who treated my dog. It would be helpful to have some clarity on the situation and if there was a problem as to why she couldn’t properly complete the cleaning so I could understand. The fact that she did not call makes me think that she does not want to discuss my dog’s care with me and or that she is being untruthful. This is highly unprofessional and disappointing in a healthcare provider.
I paid for services that were done either improperly or not done at all, and now I am being given the runaround by Banfield. If the vet or a staff member could just give me an explanation and discuss with me, I would truly understand. Most importantly my dog was put under GA at risk and is recovering poorly. This isn’t how we should treat patients! Especially patients who cannot advocate for themselves. So I am writing this review for my dog and others who may want to use Banfield.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon. I really do enjoy seeing Dr. Cooley. Otherwise I will be disputing the charges with my bank and removing my pet from the wellness plan and looking for care elsewhere.

Very disappointed w the care my dog received. My dog, Theo, has had diarrhea for several days, and it felt like getting help was a struggle. Medication was only prescribed after my boyfriend specifically asked for it. Despite ongoing symptoms, I still have not received the test results or any follow-up communication from the clinic. As a pet owner, it’s frustrating and stressful to be left waiting while my dog continues to be sick. I expected better communication and more proactive care.
