Arrived at the exact time for my dogs appt. but when walking over to the booth for the vet appt. people were standing away from it and had already formed a line. I was standing right at the booth area and no one asked me if I was there for an appt or if I could be assisted. While there my dog poops in her carrier and I have to then take her out and tie her up to a near bar right at the booth area while I am now looking for a waste basket to throw away all. I then walk away and ask someone else who tells me they are outside. I have to leave my dog alone tied up while I head outside to throw all away. [There should be waste baskets inside of this store at all corners and cleaned up by its employees consistently].I then come back and my dog has since peed on the floor and pooped again. These appts for her are not a happy one. I now am looking to clean all from the floor while people are surrounding me at the booth area. To my surprise a male, don’t know if an employee or not came right up and cleaned all from the floor right away while people just stared at what was going on. No one there who saw I was trying to calm my dog down and look to clean the floor offered to help. All the while the employee just went about her business to begin getting info from all other folks on the line to the side of the booth never once asking me anything. After she spoke to more than four people and walked back to the booth area, I interrupted her and asked when I was going to be checked in. Had my cell phone WiFi not stopped when I arrived, I would’ve avoided all of the flack and checked myself in but could not. Petco should offer their own internet and they direly need an orderly way of checking in folks with their pets for these appts. At least let the people know where the line is or have some type of ropes to show where the line should be. Add a check-in sheet, with an employee there, at the doors entrance for appts to call the person on by their dogs name via a speaker-if necessary when it’s their turn. Once it was the moment to give my dog her shot, near 45 minutes later, everything went smooth after that. I’ve gone there throughout owning a dog going back to 2021 and never experienced such rambling. A bad experience.
