- RSRupa ShahApr 16, 20261.0Avoid the grooming salon at Petco at all costs. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with any business. The staff is unbelievably rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in actually helping customers. What’s worse is the manager is just as bad—equally rude, unwilling to listen, and clearly not interested in resolving anything. My dog, Fluffy, has been going to the same groomer for a long time with ZERO issues. No aggression, no biting, nothing—yet suddenly I start receiving vague, contradictory messages claiming “he can bite” and blaming “scheduling issues.” If any of that were true, why was it never properly communicated before? It feels like they just made excuses instead of being honest. The communication itself is shockingly unprofessional. The tone of their messages is rude, passive-aggressive, and borderline hostile. Instead of treating customers with basic respect, they send abrupt texts telling you they’re “not daycare” and demanding immediate pickup, as if you’re inconveniencing them by being their customer. And instead of having a proper conversation like professionals, they abruptly drop you as a client with no real explanation. No accountability, no courtesy—just attitude. This place is disorganized, disrespectful, and clearly does not value its customers or their pets. I would never trust them again and strongly recommend finding literally ANY other groomer.
