I wanted to share that , Diane that works at Braintree Banfield, was so very helpful to me in a time of need . She got back to me immediately with all questions I had . She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very pleasant. She is an asset to your hospital. Thank you Diane , there should be more people like you working with the public , especially when they are worried about their pets !!!

After reading all the consistent negative reviews, maybe I should take their advice and move on. Why does it always have to be about the money

Nightmare ; they didn’t put my dogs breed or color gave shots. They put breed unknown. It’s a Chihuahua. They put color albino he’s black and tan and then they spelled his name wrong so I’m like is the microchip number even right this piece of paper means nothing to me. I’m gonna have to go somewhere else and get it done again it’s not even about the money. It’s just like how incompetent are you?

Be AWARE!!! My 2 dogs had been to Bandfield before and I have been satisfied with the doctor, especially Dr. M at the Petsmart Bandfield in Braintree. This time things felt different. I called the Bandfield on Forbes st. Braintree. I took my dog due to blood in her stool. She was fine otherwise, drinking, no vomit, no diarrhea or changes in general. I got an appointment for 7:45 am drop off which I found odd since I had never before just dropped off unless a procedure had been scheduled. I asked why I was not seeing a doctor and then deciding treatment but the receptionist said that it had to be done as a drop off. I agreed and went. The office was busy and the receptionist logging patients in seemed overwhelmed. There were 2 other pet owners that were asking why they were being asked to pay more money if they had a wellness program that included the services they were going in for. There was some sort of explanation about "systems merging" but that was a red flag to me. Nevertheless, I waited for my turn. They took my dog back and then I was asked to signed off on a $1,000.00 worth of tests. Please remember, I had NOT seen a doctor yet. No physical assessment had been done. I asked why and explained that in prior visits to Bandfield I had never just dropped off and signed for tests. I would stay and be seen by a vet that would tell us what were the options for treatment. The lady just told me: " Well I do not know I am just the receptionist here". I took my dog and left. I am so happy I followed my hunch. I went to Braintree Vet Care and saw Dr. Caprara and received the most professional and honest treatment. My dog is well and none of the high priced tests were needed. I did not pay anywhere near the amount of money Bandfield wanted to charge. She is healthy and happy. BE AWARE!!!
