- JFJennifer FigueroaJun 6, 20261.0I’ve only been to this Banfield once or twice when my usual location didn’t have any available appointments and this was the next closest option. Unfortunately, each experience has been disappointing. The staff members I’ve interacted with have come across as unfriendly and unhelpful, and my most recent attempt to schedule an appointment was met with a poor attitude and little willingness to assist. Customer service plays a big role in the overall experience, especially when you’re seeking care for your pet. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this location if you have other options available.
- KKKathrynMay 11, 20261.0Took my cat here for an emergency appointment and I do NOT recommend them. My cat’s issue would have been found with an exam, but they ran a ton of tests anyways. I understand being thorough, but this felt more like taking advantage of the fact that I was worried about my cat to charge me for unnecessary services. For example, they wanted to give him IV fluids (for an extra $100) even though they did not find that he was dehydrated. Also, while he waited several hours for me to get him (I was at work and couldn’t leave to bring him home), they didn’t start his pain medication or antibiotics to help with the discomfort he was experiencing. I understand not wanting him to throw up the medication on the ride home but I think they would have had time to help him even a little bit while he waited for me. There’s more, but I think I have written enough. Overall I felt very little empathy from them and do not recommend going here.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
