I just got my cat looked at to have an updated rabies shot. She just had a vet evaluation recently and I guess they missed that she tarter on her teeth. (16 years old) The attending vet was questioning the care I have provided my cat.I was turned off, by her disposition and I won’t go back. The supporting staff was very friendly.

Malik is an amazing staff member. He was very friendly helped me out with everything I needed. He is very kind and I believe he deserves a raise for the way he treated me as a customer. I came in first for some goldfish and had to pick out the ones I wanted. He was patient and caught every fish that I desire. Malik again is very, very nice kind gentle made me feel welcome and I appreciate it. I will be back to this Petco for anything I need in the future. Again, Malik deserves a raise!

I'm out walking my dog in the 95° heat and we stopped in so he could get a little sip of water, but they don't have a water bowl for dogs, they tell you to go use the bathroom sink. Definitely not a dog-friendly dog store 😆 other than denying dogs water, it looked like it was a nice store but we didn't stay

I had a disturbing experience at Petco on N. Carrollton Ave in New Orleans. I arrived at the store a bit after 9:00 am to purchase prescription cat food. I was greet with a loud, "Welcome to Petco," a good start that went downhill from there. When I got to the prescription cat food section to get K/D food there were just a few cans of what our cat will eat on the shelf. I figured they's at least get her through a couple of days. When I tried to check out, the cashier sat on her chair, entered my phone number, and told me there was no account with that name. She then tried my email address and it failed. Instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with the system, she offered to create one and I declined and left the store as a very unhappy customer. When I got to my vehicle, I went online and opened my Petco account online with more than 700 points in it. I can understand being out of stock, I can understand the need for some employees to sit while waiting on customers, I can expect computer glitches, but to get all of these in one visit is too much and I don't plan to return for what they can deliver next.
After the negative experience at Petco on N. Carrollton described above, I drove to Petco on Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA. since I still needed foor for our cat. The shelves had no 5.5 oz cans of Hills K/D prescription cat food. I overhead a staff member on the phone telling someone that they would be getting a shipment in later today. I asked her if the shipment would include Hills K/D. She replied that they had it in the back but there were too many items in front of it so it might be on the shelves by 5:00 PM. I ended up buying a few tiny cans of food so our cat could eat today. I'm done with Petco. Maybe Chewy will be able to provide the prescription food we need.
