We’ve been using this Petco for training and supplies for the past few years with our smallest dog and recently rescued two doodles used for breeding. Our rescue has become considerably more confident since completing a private and group training class with Alison. The groomers (shout out, Nadiyah!) did a great job making the girls look good. They seem to feel more confident now since getting a good grooming too. The blond dog in the graduation cap was terrified of men when I first brought her home, less than 6 months ago. I’ve seen significant progress since she’s been learning to socialize. Colin, an employee who isn’t only a man but is also tall and could be seen as more imposing, has been a huge help with her! He’s patient and compassionate. The staff know my dogs by name and greet them when we walk in the door. The scared little rescue dog now walks into this Petco like Norm walked into Cheers, just wagging and happily barking in both directions to let her human friends at Petco know that she’s arrived.
