  I brought my dog, Speedy, in today, 10/8/26, for a grooming appointment. When my husband and I walked in, we immediately noticed that the demeanor of the staff seemed different, and I also noticed that they appeared to be grooming mostly smaller breeds. Speedy is a larger dog (Labradoodle). Before his appointment, I specifically explained that he had a few areas that were matted. About 30 minutes later, I received a phone call from Lucas stating that Speedy had “hot spots” and that I would not be charged for the portion of the grooming they had already completed, which included the top of his body and about half of his back legs. I have never experienced this before, even when Speedy has had some redness or irritation on his belly. Lucas recommended that I take Speedy to the vet, so I did exactly that. I walked across the floor to the veterinary clinic, made an appointment, and had him examined. As I suspected, the vet determined that the areas were not serious and that Speedy could have received his grooming service. I then contacted another groomer, who was able to get Speedy in the same day, and his grooming was completed beautifully without any issues. I do want to give credit where it is due: the veterinary staff were absolutely amazing. They even contacted the manager on my behalf, which I did not ask them to do, but they went above and beyond to help address the situation. The manager later told the vet that Lucas also mentioned Speedy does not like having his feet touched. That is true, but I have taken Speedy to Petco for grooming before and have never had this issue or been told that his temperament prevented him from receiving his service. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I understand that groomers have to prioritize the safety and well-being of the animals in their care, and I respect that. However, based on the veterinary evaluation and the fact that another groomer was able to complete Speedy’s grooming beautifully the very same day, I do not feel that this situation was handled appropriately. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to Petco for grooming services.

  Staff was friendly and helpful pointing us in the right direction to find steps for our older pooch.

  They were great here today Food was dropped and had to bring back for an exchange and everything went A OK!!!! COME SEE THEM FOR ALL YOUR DOG OR CAT NEEDS!!!!

  Every one is very nice. And knew what they were doing. The service was fast and easy and most of all pain free for my puppy Dax. Every one loved him as he loved everyone also. They were great and they worked with me when I was on a budget yo get what Dax needed done. I recommend everyone that has a pet to bring them to the petco mobile clinic because its so much better then a regular vet office. You get almost the same care for less bucks and if they dont do what you need done then its ok they have a bet hospital you can rely on and you dont even have to leave because its in the same spot which is great. But yeah they really care about your pet just as much as you do. And thats important because that just means they are going to do their most very best to tend to your pet to provide the best care possible. Me and Dax will definitely be back in the future. And we look forward to seeing Every one soon.
