  I had a very bad experience with this place. I arranged for a stray dog to be spayed and released, and (in my opinion) because she was left overnight, not sedated, for the first night before her surgery, and had to wait until the NEXT day for surgery, only given 30 milligrams of tramedol following her surgery (from what I was told), which is way too low of a dose, and kept in a tiny trap for 3 DAYS total due to her ripping out her stitches twice throughout those 3 days, she passed away. I fed her for years before that. I planned on continuing to do so. I just didn’t want to have to keep finding homes for stray puppies, and she kept having litters. It was very sad. I realize money was probably the reason she was treated how she was, or the fact that she was a stray, or both. The pound helped me fund her surgery, and I paid for part of it. However, compassion should have been a factor, as well. The whole thing just didn’t sit right with me, especially since I told my contact from the pound— who I believe was caring for her after surgery— that the cage was too small, (I offered a larger cage) and reminded them that she wasn’t used to being caged, and that she needed to be sedated. I should have taken her to Spaynation. At least they properly sedate strays, and release them promptly to prevent these sort of things.

  This is the best vet I have ever brought any of my animals to. The team here is so caring for the animals and the pet parents! They go above and beyond every single time and are more than happy to do so. I’m very grateful to have these people within our community.
