This place is tremendous! Such a great place to have and so close by. The trainer for my dog was very professional, cared about our goals and my dog as an individual. They really are there for you through the whole process, from daily updates with videos to answering questions. I feel empowered to pick up where they left off and have him use his new training with me as his owner. Thank you so much Precision Dog Training! And Kaylie!!

I am very grateful for Precision Dog Training and the training they provided my dog during the 4-week board-and-train program. My dog’s breed is Labradoodle, and he entered training with jumping behaviors and distraction issues, where he wouldn’t listen when other stimuli were present. I chose the 4-week package so my dog could be trained off-leash. The staff were very friendly and patient with all of my questions. I did quite a bit of research on board and trains available near me. Precision Dog Training stood out because of the owners education and experience in military and law enforcement. My dog was trained by Kennedi and she was awesome. Every update I received throughout the training, my dog was happy and excited to train. The mid session and go home session was very helpful as well. My dog graduated a few weeks ago, and I took some time before posting my review so I could observe the positive changes. I took my dog paddleboarding today and kept him off-leash while setting up. Someone walked by, and my dog noticed him first and barked appropriately, BUT HE STAYED BY MY SIDE. This was huge! My dog has previously run toward people (he’s very friendly), but darting off is not safe. He is much more responsive to corrections now and will heel on every walk. The package is costly, but it’s worth having my dog listen and be my built-in best friend on any adventure. I do believe the training my dog received will pay its own dividends in the freedom and confidence it gives us to enjoy more adventures together! Thank you Kennedi and all the staff of Precision Dog Training!

Precision Dog Training Academy has been great to work with while training my puppy. First through Puppy 101 class with Kate Franklin and I learned the basics for training and received very helpful feedback. Then Madi worked with him through the Board and Train program to address his aversion to being in the kennel and sharpen his obedience skills. Franklin is much more confident and while he doesn't love being in his kennel he certainly is much more comfortable than before! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision's training to anyone! Thanks Kate and Madi!!

Our reactive dog, Koda went to the 3 week board and train with Madi. She was amazing and the results have been amazing! Madi updated us throughout the whole process. He is so much more confident now and much better with obedience and reactivity. Walking him used to be such a stressful experience, and now we can actually enjoy taking him on walks. Koda is very picky with his people and loved everyone at Precision! I highly recommend Madi and everyone at Precision Dog Training Academy for your pet training needs.

Words can’t describe how grateful I am for Precision Dog Training Academy! My good ole boy Goose has been the sweet, most outgoing opinionated pup i had met. Unfortunately when he was two years old he went through a traumatic event that would change that way he looked and acted around other people and dogs. He became reactive to almost everything. It was heartbreaking to see such a good dog change in such a way I almost didn’t recognize him on some days. We used to be able to go walks or the dog park and see him having fun with other dogs tail held high, ready to play! Things were so different he would lunge and bark at dogs walking towards him. He would never think twice about reacting to any dog in his presence. He at one point become reactive to people, barking or growling showing you that he was not ok with you being around him. I was lost in so many ways i had no idea what to do. I did my research for so long looking for a local place helping with reactivity with dogs specifically towards this kind of situation. It took me a while to really get my head into the right spot to send my dog to a place i didn’t know. But after reading the most amazing reviews (which is quite honestly the only reason i picked up the phone and talked to someone from here) i’m so glad i never turned my head to this place and kept moving forward with talking to them about what is the best option for my dog. I put Goose into the 3 week board and training class..I will never regret it. Emily is by far one of the best dog trainers i have ever met and worked with. You can tell they hire people here, who are so determined to not just train your dog but the owner as well. They will be there for whatever outcome your dog is going through. They have so much patience, determination and energy for everything. I am beyond blessed with each and every employee that works hard everyday here to help guide dogs to a better future. Thanks to Emily, Goose doesn’t walk by a dog lunging and barking with fear in his eyes he focuses on what’s past all that and walks right past dogs, EVEN if they are reactive or barking at him. We are able to sit calmly at park bench as dogs or people walk by He is able to have people come through our front door and stay at his “place” and still watch from afar but reaction. Not only did Precision Dog Training Academy help Goose with his reactivity but they helped myself get through the hard times. They lifted all the weight off my shoulders and i couldn’t recommend them more especially Trainer Emily!!!! Thank you PDTA so much.
