  Thank you to the wonderful team of folks at Precision Dog Training for the great care and training for our sweet boy, Harvey! I want to give a very special shout out and thank you to the AMAZING, Madi for all you’ve poured into Harvey’s and our training over that last couple of months. You helped to change our life with Harvey in the absolute best way and we’re so thrilled with the overall results!! I will admit that I had doubts going into this program due to subpar results from other trainers previously, but Harvey’s transformation is proof that a structured training program with committed resources that partner with families can really make a huge impact on behavioral and reactivity issues. Not only has Harvey completed the Precision board and train program with success, but we are still working hard at home to reinforce all of his training and know that our commitment to this will continue to improve the results and pay huge dividends for our future. During every step and transition Madi and the Precision team have been there for us and we feel the best level of support and care for Harvey and our family. You can really tell that they care, love what they do, and that is so important to us! Thank you so very much for everything! We appreciate Madi and the Precision team and highly recommend them for any pet training needs!

  We had THE BEST experience. Our littermate girls came in anxious and aggressive and left like new women. We are so appreciative of the work Emily and staff put into our dogs. I cried on the first walk because we could WALK! They were not aggressive towards anyone on our walk and we continue to be able to make our way out into the world. Thank you for giving us back a part of our lives we have been without for 2 years.

  I’ve worked with several dog trainers over the years, and working with Emily at Precision Dog Training has easily been the most successful experience I’ve had. I brought my dog Charley in specifically for dog reactivity, and after 10 sessions, I feel much more confident handling him in situations that used to be difficult. Emily was fantastic to work with. She communicated well, made scheduling and rescheduling easy, and did a great job progressing Charley from foundational training into more advanced skills throughout our sessions. I highly recommend Precision Dog Training, especially for anyone dealing with dog reactivity.

  My husband and I will never regret our decision to invest in our dog, Harley, and send her to Precision Dog Training Academy. And while we knew it was the right decision to let Precision take the wheel with Harley's training, we struggled in the beginning with knowing she would be gone for so long and wondering if our Harley girl would still retain her goofy personality. We even had a bit of a panic after our integrated training session because Harley seemed more subdued than her usual self. However, Harley's trainer, Madi, was understanding, compassionate, and able to help guide us through our emotions with her knowledge and expertise. We identified that Harley was most likely tired from all her activities that day (group play sessions, walks, and training) and that we had nothing to worry about. As hard as it was to not see Harley every day, Madi's thoughtful and detailed daily updates kept us well-informed on all of her progress. We even got cute little videos and pictures that showed just how well Harley was doing throughout her training. And it was clearly evident just how much passion Madi has for her work and also how much care she provides to the dogs she works with. She truly loves what she does and we feel so blessed to have had her work with Harley. Since having Harley back in our home, we can definitely see a difference in her behavior. She still has her goofy spark, but now she listens more and makes better decisions more often than not. And even though her board & train may be done, Precision Dog Training knows that the success of their program also depends on how well we can continue the progress and adapt the program to our needs within our home. Which is why they not only provided us with lots of educational material and a thorough and detailed go-home session, but also provide continued training training opportunities through their group training classes (we've already signed up for a few!). And while the educational material they provided at our go-home session has been a great resource, Madi has continued to be a phenomenal resource for us as well, even guiding us recently through a situation with step-by-step instructions on how to manage it all. All in all, our experience with Madi and Precision Dog Training Academy has been amazing and I would hands-down recommend them to anyone looking for dog training services!

  We can’t say enough great things about Emily and Precision Dog Training! We enrolled my daughter’s 8 month old German Shepard mix, Roger, in the three week board-and-train program, and the results exceeded our expectation. Roger is a sweet boy, but he was jumping, biting, and running the household instead of listening. Emily turned him into the well-behaved companion we always knew he could be. My daughter has left sided weakness and other disabilities, so managing Roger had become very challenging. Emily didn’t just train Roger, she took the time to understand my daughter’s unique needs and customized his training to help them succeed together. One of the things that impressed us the most was teaching Roger to heel on my daughter’s right side instead of the traditional left, making walks much safer and more manageable for her. Emily didn’t just train Roger, she taught my daughter how to work confidently with him, and their bond is stronger because of it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are so incredibly grateful for everything Emily has done for Roger and my daughter. We would highly recommend Emily as a trainer and Precision Dog Training!
