- ARAlexandra Robinson4 days ago1.0This location always has poor customer service, staff will literally see you standing at the counter waiting to be acknowledged and will not speak to you at all. I sat there for at least 20 minutes until someone acknowledged me while they were standing around talking. Until finally someone said there’s someone waiting and immediately got a cold reaction as if I was inconveniencing them .

- JSJim SmithSep 15, 20261.0Banfield doesn't care about pets. Banfield cares about going home on time. I had a sick pet that needed to be seen. I booked the last appointment slot of the day because I have a busy work schedule. When I showed up, they couldn't find my appointment. After looking through my phone, I realized that they had canceled it. I tried to explain the situation to Sidney, but she simply said, "Sorry, we're closing," and refused to honor the appointment. Your booking portal is extremely user-unfriendly. When you call, you often get a busy signal, and employees are unable to check availability or book appointments at other Banfield locations. You're essentially stuck calling each location individually or going back to the website and hoping for the best. I was incredibly disappointed that the staff was so willing to turn away a sick pet, particularly when I had booked an available appointment through their own system. I also found Sidney's overall demeanor to be rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When you're dealing with a sick animal, you expect a veterinary hospital to show at least some degree of concern and willingness to help. Instead, the priority seemed to be closing on time rather than caring for a pet that needed medical attention.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
