  I’m very disappointed with my experience today. The front-desk staff member I interacted with was somewhat rude, I did not catch her name but she is blond, yet noticeably changed her tone when another customer approached. I’m not concerned about her attitude, I don’t care about people who take their work frustration on others as much as I am about the overall lack of organization and respect for clients’ time. My pet appointment was scheduled for 12:30 PM, but my pet was not seen until around 1:30 PM. After that, I had to wait another 15 minutes for my pet to be seen again so a few additional things could be done. Unfortunately, I had an emergency and needed to leave quickly, so I had to tell the nurse that I could not stay any longer and asked at least to receive my pet’s antibiotics. The response from the front desk was that if I needed to leave, I could simply leave without the medication. That was extremely frustrating, especially after waiting for nearly two hours and considering that my pet needed the medication. I explained that I needed the antibiotics, and I was then told that their system was either old or new—I honestly wasn’t sure—and that it was running slowly. I said I understood and was willing to wait, but the situation was still very frustrating. To be fair, the veterinarian and the nurse were great, and I appreciate their care. My main issue is the repeated problem with time management and appointment scheduling. This is not the first time. On a previous visit, I waited approximately three and a half hours. That is extremely difficult for people who have jobs, families, emergencies, and other responsibilities. At this point, I am seriously considering switching to another provider, and my family members who also bring their pets here have experienced similar problems with waiting times. I understand that veterinary clinics can have emergencies and unexpected delays, but consistently making clients wait well beyond their scheduled appointment times without better communication is not acceptable. People’s time matters too.
