- MRMichael RowanJun 4, 20261.0Come back here every year to remind you that you killed my perfectly healthy 5 year old cat during intubation. Punctured her lung without knowing, we took her home and noticed she was meowing a lot over night so we took her back. They found that they punctured her lung, came back told us and gave us a 5 minutes deadline where we had to decide to pay them over $2k for their mess up or else she would die. We just adopted her 3 months before that and given her every medication so we didn’t have that much money so she passed away. One of the veterinarians went in to their animal room and said “what did you do to her, she was a perfectly healthy cat” to one of the other vets. They often take down our reviews or say “we don’t have record” which doesn’t surprise me. Extremely unprofessional. Never take your animal here if you actually care about them.

- EHEvelyn HynesMay 29, 20261.0I took my dog in basically for a second opinion. He has bladder stone surgery twice before. The doctor explained why dogs cannot have a third surgery. I did not know for sure why. When she gave me the option of Purdue or surrendering my dog because I’m a widow on a pension and can’t afford a giant bill. She strongly suggested both those options and I told her that’s like giving up my child. The next sentence that came out of her mouth was so you’re just going to kill him. I can’t believe that she was so rude and showed no compassion whatsoever for what we were going through. I knew that he could not have another surgery, but I thought there might be another option. But for her to say that I was just going to kill him was unbelievable. I will never ever recommend anybody to go to Banfield Hospital or at least the one in Plainfield, Indiana. I don’t think I have ever met anyone that had so little compassion. I do understand what she was trying to say, but I’m sure there was another way she could’ve said it. She just ripped my heart out that day. This dog is 13 years old. I have had him since he left his momma.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
