  Unfortunately, my experiences with Petco grooming have been consistently disappointing across different locations, but the Noblesville location was by far the worst. My first experience was when my dog was only a 3-month-old Mini Goldendoodle puppy. I took her to the Carmel location for a simple bath and brush. About 30 minutes after I dropped her off, the groomer called saying she couldn’t brush her because she was trying to bite. She was a three-month-old puppy. What bothered me even more was that the groomer then added a note to her record labeling her as “aggressive.” The second time, I tried a different Petco location. I arrived about five minutes late for pickup and discovered that there was no one in the grooming area and my dog had been left there alone. I actually had to ask an employee at the register to help me get my dog. My most recent experience was about three weeks ago at the Noblesville location, and this was the worst one. When I arrived, the groomer told me she wouldn’t be able to do the haircut because she was working alone, things were too complicated, and she had to leave in about 30 minutes. She said she could only bathe and brush my dog. She also brought up the note in my dog’s record saying she was “aggressive” and told me another groomer would need to be present to help with her. This is especially frustrating because my dog has been to several other groomers with absolutely no complaints about aggression or behavior. I also bathe and brush her at home without any issues. When I came back, they had bathed her but had also literally shaved both of her ears because, according to the groomer, there were mats that were “impossible” to remove. I had arrived early and was able to watch them drying and handling my dog for a while. At no point did I see my dog behaving aggressively or having any kind of concerning reaction. I even specifically asked the groomer, “Was she aggressive with you?” Her answer was no. So I’m left with a dog that has been labeled “aggressive” in Petco’s system since she was a three-month-old puppy, even though the most recent groomer herself confirmed that she was not aggressive. That label has now affected the services Petco is willing to provide her. After multiple negative experiences at different locations, and especially what happened in Noblesville, I cannot recommend Petco grooming.

  Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude, and my puppy's grooming service wasn't even completed—her hair wasn't cut as booked. I was told over the phone that the price would be reduced because of the incomplete service, but when I arrived, no one knew what I was talking about because “the employee had already left”. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they ended up banning me. To make the situation even more unprofessional, three staff members started laughing when I was told I was banned. Poor communication, rude employees, and terrible customer service.
