Every year since we’ve gone to Banfield, the monthly charges are way overpriced! We do not visit every month! It would be nice if they offered an annual charge instead because when adding up their overpriced monthly charges it’s over $1k a year! When I read the receipt and see what it would cost for one visit, I’m in shock!
My fur baby also is not the same for a few days after his visit. since we had words, so I get hesitant on going to the location we go to.

My pup is very vocal and barks at everything. I am so happy Banfield processes their pups quickly and puts you in a room to discuss your visit.

Horrible experience. (6/9/26 - 6/15/26)
- Initial operation was a failure, so we were in the process of setting up a surgical option
- Was set up with a membership for a year of care service, when I asked to cancel the membership after only having my initial visit I was told I would be charged nearly $300 for "services." No services were provided.
- Scheduling is unorganized, when I expressed my concerns about how unorganized there scheduling seemed to be The gentleman over the phone called me rude. Sorry for expressing my concerns with the organization of a company that I am putting my pets life on the line with.
Terrible experience with a company that was more interested in extorting money than actually caring for the health of pets.

I had a scheduling issue with my appointment when I checked in, but the team at Banfield Pet Hospital went above and beyond to make things right. They were able to fit my pet in between other cases, and I was incredibly grateful for their flexibility and willingness to help.
From the front desk staff to the veterinarian, everyone was friendly, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my pet’s well-being. The veterinarian took the time to answer my questions and made me feel confident that my pet was receiving excellent care. Even with a busy schedule, the entire team remained professional, attentive, and welcoming.
Overall, I had a great experience and truly appreciate the care my pet received. Thank you to the entire team!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
