- BSBriana ShieldsOct 6, 20262.0Normally a great place. However, we were called last Thursday about our dog’s +UTI and told to pick up medication. Went to pick it up that same day and they were already closed, even though according to their hours they should still be open. We have tried to go pick up this medication every single day since, and every day they are closed despite showing open online. We get that things happen and are going through internal issues, but could at least put out a notice or let us know that they would be closed. Or even allow us to pick up medication at another location. Very frustrating to be paying monthly for their wellness plan and not even be able to get our dog’s medication or be in contact with someone.

- ERElida RobinsonSep 19, 20262.0DO NOT book for 7 AM drop offs. They do not open on time. I have been waiting outside since 6:45 AM trying to be punctual. Someone arrived to the building around 6:58 AM and locked the door behind them. I am now writing this at 7:28 AM still waiting for the building to be opened for my 7 am appointment. This is the first time I have scheduled an early appointment and I will never do this again. Update: my dog was checked in at 8:13 AM.
- GWGrace WoernerAug 26, 20265.0I took my senior dog in as a new client to this banfield location today. Our Vet tech Leah was amazing! She was incredibly welcoming and kind. She also explained Banfield's Optimum Wellness plans to me in terms that were easy to understand. My dog saw Dr. Frakes today, who was just great with him! She did a really thorough exam of him and solved our immediate concern. She also expressed her concerns for conditions to look for signs of in the future. Overall, my dog left feeling much better and this location earned themselves a new client who will definitely be returning!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
