During my cat’s recent visit, we had a few follow-up questions after the appointment and asked the front desk if they could get clarification from the veterinarian. We were told, “I don’t know anything—I just clocked in,” which came across as dismissive. As the staff member returned from speaking with someone in the back, we also overheard, “Well, he’s just a cat,” said repeatedly. Hearing that about our pet was upsetting and made us feel like our concerns weren’t being taken seriously. I wanted to share this because I value this clinic and hope it’s taken as constructive feedback. The veterinarians have been great, but the front desk interactions during this visit—and a phone call a couple of months ago—left us feeling disappointed. Despite these one off interactions, we typically enjoy our trips to Animal Medical Center, that are mainly for our dog. The veterinarians remain patience with him as he is an anxious dog and they always provide suggestions on how to help with that.
