Extremely friendly staff! All the critters were in clean homes and looked well taken care of! I come here every other week for feeder fish for my turtle and never have a bad experience. This week I got my fish and added 3 hermit crabs to our family and wouldn't have bought them anywhere else! Great place to shop!!!

Disappointed by the hamster care here. I saw multiple hamsters housed together with small flying saucer wheels. Hamsters need appropriate space, enrichment, and properly sized wheels. I visited petsmart in elkhart afterward and was genuinely happy to see their hamsters housed separately with much larger wheels. I hope Petco considers making similar improvements. I did end up adopting a hamster and he’s now in a new home where he has plenty of space, bedding, enrichment, and a proper sized wheel I still hope Petco will reconsider how the hamsters are housed in the store. Hamsters generally should not be kept together, and having multiple hamsters sharing a small enclosure with one tiny saucer wheel doesn’t give them much opportunity to move around or behave naturally. I appreciate the response to my original review, but I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration for the animals currently in the store and future hamsters.

The Petco staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable when I came into the store to schedule grooming for my Poodle. They helped me open an account on my phone using their app, so when I made a first purchase, it already qualified for rewards.

Very wide selection of pets, seem well cared for, and we're super helpful in buying what we were looking for
