And I asked for a goldfish, since my daughter's fair goldfish died immediately. There was a wonderful young lady, Sam, who helped guide me through the process, redirected and helped me pick the best tank and fish that will actually have a chance in my house. I didnt even want a fish but she changed my perspective by the end of the conversation.

- JPJasmine PurrshaMay 23, 20263.0If you buy a Fish here and it dies, in order to get a refund, you need to bring in a water sample to be tested. 1 month ago, I bought a Betta Fish at this Petco, and he seemed very sick/unhealthy when I first got him. He hardly swam, wouldn't eat and would lay upside down in the tank, sometimes. Sadly, he died 3 weeks later. When looking at the Betta selection at Petco, I see several dead Bettas on display. It makes me wonder how well Petco takes care of all the Bettas, and how healthy they are when you get them. I decided to buy Guppies the 2nd time, hoping for better luck.
