I had to take one of my boys in to be seen. I got so lucky to be able to secure a cancellation. The workers were all so kind. He had an accident in the cage and one of the lovely women at the front desk cleaned it for me, because I was so overwhelmed. I appreciate their kindness and reassurance. I will definitely return.

I made an important appointment for my dog. I arrived and the facility was closed. I drove 30 min. I received no phone call indicating they would be closed. My dog is still in need of vet care!

The receptionists (sorry, don’t remember their names) were so pleasant, helpful and made me feel so comfortable being new here, transferring from AZ. Ronny the tech is wonderful and adorable. He is very special and a joy to speak with. With the computers down he did an excellent job of writing down all the information he needed to share with Dr Lee. He is an excellent addition to your staff. I really like Dr Lee. He spent a lot of time with me and Logan. I was quite apprehensive Transferring from my vets in AZ of which Logan has been their patient for 8 yrs. I am definitely very comfortable knowing Logan will get the same great care we are both used to.

I've lived in several states using several vets. Dr. Lee (and the others) at Banfield in Avon are the best I've ever encountered. They are personable, caring, and love my pupper almost as much as I do. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet. I have the optimum wellness plan that includes dental cleanings as my 5 pound poodle gets her teeth cleaned twice a year.

I consistently have a terrible experience with this vet. I pay 2 monthly wellness plans for my pets. They regularly cancel appointments with less than 24 hours notice. Staff regularly behave as if they just wanted to go home and do not treat pets with any genuine care, let alone treat them like their own pets. During my most recent visit, I arrived at 4:45p for my 5:00p appointment for two pets. I checked in at the front desk and sat down in the waiting area. At 5:15p, 15 minutes after my appointment start time, I was still waiting. I asked the receptionist when I could expect to be seen. In response, she told me that she “forgot” to check my pets in. They assured me that they would go clean a room and get me back to the room “immediately”. Several minutes later, they returned to share that no rooms were available and that I would have to wait longer. At 5:38p, almost 45 minutes after my appointment start time, a vet tech came to me in the waiting room and began writing down my pet’s history. She seemed very confused and could not get a single question out without apologizing several times or saying “wait, I can’t talk today”. Finally, I was taken to a room. The vet tech repeated the same questions, expressed being confused about the reason for visit, and mixed up two different vaccines when discussing them, which is very concerning. I was told my pet would get routine bloodwork done during her annual wellness visit. The vet saw her for maybe 5 minutes before returning to say that the bloodwork would not be completed. When asked for the reason, he visibly scrambled before landing on, “she was a little wiggly” and shared that I would have to come back in 2 weeks. I asked about the weight of my two pets that were being seen. The vet told me that my male cat gained weight and currently weighed 13lbs. The vet tech later stated that the same male cat lost weight and currently weighed 11lbs. I asked for them to clarify so that my pet’s flea and tick preventative could be administered at the correct dosage. The vet tech assured that the vet mixed up the numbers and that my pet weighed 13lbs. After the appointment, I weighed him outside myself. He weighed 13lbs. Why can’t two vet professionals correctly identify the weight of an animal? That is very concerning. The check out process was extensive as well. Everyone blamed the incredibly poor service on a new system the entire time. The receptionist repeatedly shared how happy she was to give me “a good show” and promised to give another good show next time. I am consistently disappointed by the level of care provided by this team. I believe that my experience warrants a refund for 1 month of payments. I do not recommend going here or purchasing a monthly subscription plan, because it is intentionally expensive to cancel. I will not be renewing my plans.
Update: I shared details of my review via email on July 5th and was told I would I would be contacted by corporate in 3-5 business days. It’s been 8 days and I have heard nothing. When I returned home from my original visit, I noticed an old injury on my pets paw. I was told that the vet did a full exam. They failed to acknowledge this injury. I followed up via email, and was told I would get a reply within 2 business days. I have not been contacted. The level of care provided by this team is far below the minimum. I am incredibly disappointed and still expect to be contacted and have my issue truly resolved. Do not go here. They do not care.
Update: I was contacted by Kelsey from the Avon location on 7/13 via phone. During the call, Kelsey sent all my vet records via email. She was considerate and apologetic about my recent visit. In my pet's records, the vet marked that there were "no significant findings" for all categories of the physical exam, proving that the exam was not completed and that this documentation was falsified, because my pet came home with an injury. I was promised a refund of $116.90 within 24 hours. Instead, I received a bill instead. No one has replied to my communication attempts since.
