  We use Petco grooming for both dogs and recently started using the Willowbrook location. We’ve taken our dogs here before without issue but today we were told that because our corgi will not stand for his bath that he is being “referred out”. He’s a corgi…. They typically will not stand for baths. Also he is older and does have arthritis in his back legs but is still very mobile. We received a call within ten minutes of dropping him off from manager Blue saying if he won’t stand for his bath then they can’t service him. We asked if we should turn around and pick him up and was told they would make an exception. Upon picking him up, Blue was not there but left in caps on our discharge paperwork “WILL NOT STAND FOR BATH, referred out”. So after inquiring with the staff more details as to what the expectation is going forward, basically if you have a dog with mobility issues, a senior dog, or simply a dog that is lazy like our Corgi- Blue has an issue servicing them and will basically ban your dog from this location. I think the dogs aren’t the only ones who need to touch some grass.

  I asked why that there was a 4.1 review for Petco and I was told that they people that work there have to boost the reviews because I get so many negative reviews and this is why that happens is because the fact that the store is unkept & Rude Staff Came in this morning at 10:28 am for a 10:30 am nail trim 1st time there. Nobody at the groomer lady name blue came out and told me that I would have to wait for the groomer to come out at 10:30 for the nail trim she walked in the door and came out and said are you here for a nail trim ? I scratched my head totally disbelief. I want to see them do her nails she she is skittish the put up a piece of cardboard over the window so I couldn't see. I will never take her back there again and Staff was Rude in the store even the store was not busy BLUE SUCKED AS A MANAGER the store was not worth going to and the front door was boarded up and it not worth coming here.

  Placed an order online for pickup for a critical fishtank item which was needed right away. Other places in the area didn't have it in stock and I wondered if this Petco location had accurate, up to date stick information I could count on because it was getting late and if the pick-up was unsuccessful I would be in a real predicament. As it went I received a message about 15 minutes later saying my order was ready, I headed over to the store and within two minutes if arriving I was walking out with my ordered item in hand which was ready to go right at the registers in the front of the store. Needless to say I was appreciative of their website's inventory accuracy, the speed at which they processed my order and the ease of the pickup itself. A+ all the way around and they were friendly to boot.

  Wow... just wow. Trying to adopt an adult cat and I do already have one at home and unfortunately I had one that passed away in January of this year is apparently impossible.So I guess they would rather euthanize cats then give them a loving home with parents who literally refused to give up on their daughter and had her on chemo when the oncologists said it would not end well... oh she was in remission for several years. All I want to do is give a cat a safe and happy home. Employee: well you have to go through the shelter itself... me: yes I tried that... employee: well then I don't know what to tell you... me: so you're saying that I can't just come over there right now and be there in 10 minutes and adopt a cat in need? employee: nope

  Don’t ever get your dog groomed by “Blue” the groomer. She is extremely disrespectful and beyond weird. Always has an attitude and talks in a negative tone upon drop off, will cut you off and say “I can’t do that” for adding on a service but upon hearing out the rest of the sentence will say “oh yeah that’s not a problem”…so maybe she needs to learn some conversation skills or perhaps she’s just socially awkward. The last few times she’s groomed my dog, he’ll come home shaken up and not eat or interact with us for days. With any other groomers he’s fine.
