- AAAvaSep 21, 20261.0I stopped by a few days ago for some driftwood for a new aquarium and saw that there were multiple dead bettas that looked like they’d been there for days. They already had a thick white biofilm around them and yellow water, I don’t know how anyone could miss that. When I got the attention of an employee, the first thing she said was “ugh, that’s gross.” How can you work in a pet store and not feel the slightest bit of remorse for creatures that you failed to take care of? I’m an avid fishkeeper and aquascaper, this makes me absolutely sick. The rest of the bettas had dirty water and fin rot, which saddens me so much to see. Also it took me fifteen minutes to find anyone in the entire store! If you need help there are no employees ANYWHERE. I will not be shopping here again for my fish.

As I pulled up to the register, she was on her phone, and seemed annoyed at having to check me out. She did not greet me at all. She scanned the items and as I’m paying she grabbed her phone two more times. Very rude and bad attitude.
