I brought my dog in with obvious signs of an obstruction and shared my thoughts with the doc….Instead of telling me that I should go to a hospital where they would have ultrasound and the ability to diagnose if there was one, I was told that the doctors palpitations of the belly did not indicate that and they sent me home with meds. He did not improve. I returned only for x-rays and blood work to be ordered…only to be told after that this too could not diagnose (almost $800) in bills….then to be told to go out to aurora for care. I ended up at Midwest animal hospital for emergency surgery for his bowel obstruction. Doctor called only to back peddle and falsely say I never told him that there could be foreign material in body….which was a boldface lie. They just wanted money, not a way to help the dog as none of their options could diagnose his very specific symptoms of bowel obstruction. Beware.

Despite being a bit far from the location, I enjoy bringing my cat to this vet. Booking an appointment is very easy. The both times that I have taken my cat, I had a pleasant time and was treated with respect. The vet answered all of my questions.

0 stars. DO NOT GO HERE! We took our puppy here for a first-time visit because Cache Creek is partnered with this vet. There was no one else there. At first, I thought the quiet and calm was nice, but now I'm seeing it as a testament of the clinic quality. The receptionists were not friendly. The female veterinarian seemed like she was annoyed we were there. I'm not even sure the staff like animals. 😆 I even caught her shaking her head in disappointment as she headed to the back to grab a towel since my dog had an accident in the room. The checkup was brief to say the least, and questions I had were answered vaguely. HERE'S THE BEST/WORST PART. We were given a clean bill of health. Fecal test normal, etc. I knew something was not right, so I took my pet in to Midwest Animal Hospital. My pet is positive for tapeworm, hookworm, whipworm, coccidia, and giardia. I will never go back, and will be sure to share my experience. I will inform Cache Creek of this as well.

Jimmy and Anya (cats) have seen 3 of the 4 veterinarians at AMC, and each experience has been fantastic. Every doctor has listened to our concerns, lengthy stories and context, and has provided valuable information and care plans. The staff is friendly and accommodating, very punctual, and knowledgeable. We brought our cats in today for their annual check up, with Anya also needing a ruptured anal gland check in, and Jimmy climbed INTO the bench in the exam room. Like ripped a hole and climbed into the lining. Dr. Rose very gently and calmly cut him out of the furniture, gave him a thorough exam, and was so patient with him despite being a terrified, giant cat. Anya has been given great care and attention with her rare feline ruptured anal gland, and we’ve been listened to every step of the way. The staff here are truly in it for the right reasons, and their care is obvious to anyone with a furry family member. I’d recommend this establishment to anyone who wants top notch care for their beloved pets.

The best animal care facility I have ever gone to. All of the girls at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Dr Bryan Lantow is very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. He spent as much time with my cat and me as needed. I cannot say enough about his great bedside manner. The final bill was very fair. I will recommend this clinic to everyone. I have already advised my two daughters, who have several pets between them, to use this facility.
