    This was our first time taking our dog to Petco for vaccinations, and it was honestly a really upsetting experience. We were given almost no instructions or guidance during the appointment, which made the whole process stressful from the start. The staff barely acknowledged or greeted our dog, and the technician handled him very poorly. At one point, the technician pulled our dog by his collar while he was trying to come toward us for comfort. Naturally, he whipped his head back because a complete stranger was yanking on his collar, and his tooth accidentally caught the technician’s cheek. He did not bite or lunge, and his mouth wasn’t even open. Our dog is 10 years old and has always been incredibly sweet and gentle. What upset us the most was that they immediately muzzled him and wrote in his clinic notes that he “lunged,” at the technicians face, which makes him sound aggressive and vicious when that is completely untrue. The situation could have been avoided with calmer, more professional handling. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional, and we left feeling frustrated and unfairly judged.

    Very Poor Experience I made an appointment for vaccination for my dog and upon arrival they all had attitudes because my dog was barking which is what dogs do then say she can’t get vaccinated because she is pregnant so I asked if they could just do a check up and fill out paperwork and one lady from the back ends immediately shakes her head no without having knowledge of what I needed to be filled out never coming back I wish I could leave no stars 👎🏽

    I have had a very good experience with getting my kitties their vaccines at Petco's Vetco clinic. The cost is far more affordable for us as well as I can get the three year rabies for my cats so they do not need to be vaccinated as often which is great for them as well. The vets there are quite knowledgeable and do a great job and my kitties are well restrained with the leash they use to hold them still with so I have no fears of them escaping and being injured or lost in the store. I have no complaints so far with their service.
