- AMAlly Magee1 day ago5.0I’ve used Banfield for almost 30 years. The plans made sense and at the time, I would have to drive 30 minutes to get to the one closest to me. Moving back to the Naperville area, there was one within 10 minutes of me. They ended up closing. Now I’m back to driving 20-30 minutes to either closest Banfield, but it has been worth it! The wellness plans are lower than any other veterinary office, and include more than other offices. Bonuses include being able to go to other offices if yours doesn’t have availability, and something I used recently: one covered emergency vet visit at a VCA or Blue Pearl animal hospital. As far as this location, I have found everyone to be kind, accommodating, and thorough. They educate you on your pet and help you to make informed decisions on their care. The wellness plan includes nearly everything you could need, and then some, with discounts on medications or special scans if needed. The menu of their plans have changed over the years for the better, making it easy to know what you’re paying each month and what you get. I’ll leave you with a final assignment: call any other veterinary office and ask how much it would be for the office visits, vaccinations, vaccination administration fees, (optional: spay/neuter and dental) and compare them to the yearly cost of Banfield’s plans. I did and spent way too much time only to stay with Banfield, even though I have to drive a bit to get there.
- SVSophia VAug 15, 20265.0We love Dr. Murikinati and the techs at this location. Dr. M, Sierra, and Jana (sp?) are so good with our quirky dogs. They listen well and fully support us advocating for our dogs who both struggle sometimes at the vet. Jana speaks our older dog's baby voice language perfectly and always remembers the peanut butter to distract our dogs during procedures, and today Sierra remembered that our dog loves a soft blankie to lay on so she brought one out for him without us asking. We keep coming back because of the attentive care they continue to give us, even though Banfield keeps them constantly short staffed and overworked (my words and observations--not theirs).

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
