- MEMax EinbeckerAug 19, 20261.0Their phones are broken, it does a crackle and then they cant hear the other line. Every time i call.
- AWA WJun 25, 20265.0Everyone was very helpful. Care was timely, and everything was explained at each stage of the visit.
- LCLogan CyganDec 31, 20251.0This location failed our pet on what should have been a easy to diagnose case. They misdiagnosed our dog with a cyst on her leg that was causing her to limp and recommended ultrasound imagining and referred us to another banfield location. The other location ended up not being equipped with what she needed so we had to take her to a specialty clinic for orthopedic care and there she was diagnosed with a torn crucial ligament that required surgery to fix. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating as some of the care recommendations ended up prolonging the issue she was having from getting fully diagnosed and caused unnecessary suffering and pain. Needless to say we will not be taking our pets to this location again.
- DKDebbie KiddJul 6, 20255.0Wednesday, July 2, 2025 I had gone to Banfield in Mt. Prospect to get my 15 year-old dog, his Simparica Trio for Protection from heart worm, ticks and fleas. I was greeted by Lilly, who said she had just begun not too long ago at Banfield. Lilly was wonderful! She was very helpful, friendly, thorough, and kind. My dog has been seen at Banfield for 12+ years. I am very pleased with everything. Staff always greets me by name and also my dog by name. The doctors have always shown the kindness of compassion and are very thorough and detailed in all they do. I think that’s why my dog is still here after 15 years because I value their opinion and how to best treat and help my senior dog.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
